Beautiful long stretch of pristine beach that backs onto a bush reserve. Has a great left hand surf spot and sand bar. Fantastic for families as it’s patrolled in the summer and is dog friendly. Very easy and short access from the car park and public toilets. Also Ford park is right by the beach with great facilities and play equipment.

This is a beautifully clean beach. Lifeguards situated during the season. A few surfers. Dog off-leash space down from the main beach. Gorgeous sands and never crowded. Close to town and lots of accomodation

Apart from being a naturally beautiful beach, I was really impressed with the easy access rubber path down onto the sand. As an older person with knee problems it was wonderful to be able to walk down onto the sand via an accessible path without problem. The wooden lookout platform was also easy to access and had a couple of bench seats where i could sit and enjoy the view. There was also plenty of car parking close to this beach access.

It is a long clean beach in which you can walk to Pambula Beach.
Ford Park is next to the beach and there are good rest and change room facilities. The beach has seasonal lifesaving patrols for summer months only. It’s a beautiful beach but somewhat hindered by the number of dogs off leashes.
The beach is popular for board and paddle board riders.

Walked from mitchies jetty all the way along this beautiful beach to Pambula. Took 3 hours for return trip. Not many walkers but the ones that were there were all very friendly, water was crystal clear with a few fishermen and surfers scattered along the beach. Toilets and drinks available each end and the walk is definitely worth it. Sand fairly hard near the water making it easy to walk or run. Enjoy the fresh clean air we have on offer and see this beautiful stretch of beach.

Nice beach with a great playground and grass area. Lots of sand and room to play, and not too far from the centre of town.

Easy access from our Apollo apartments - beautiful clean sandy beach - lots of people taking advantage of this lovely beach

The beach is so clean and lovely. It’s a long beach and a good walk to the Marina end. Good parks to park cars short walk to beach. Had to drive from centre of Merimbula.

This beach is easily accessed from Ocean Drive with a short walk across Ford Park. A great beach to walk along, relax or have fun activity time with the family. No shade so bring some with you. Enjoy!
