Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Mainly a whale watching station, but no whales when we were there!
A fairly long walk for a couple of people with a bad back and a gammy leg! - Only one dodgy chair to rest on about 1/2 way there.... however it was mostly flat and pretty good, except a couple of spots.... If the whales were around it would be worth the trip....

Gorgeous views along the whole Sapphire coast, with a very pretty inlet at the back. Perfect for relaxing with a picnic on the grassy headlands, playing in the soft sand, surfing and whale watch. We seen lots of dolphins here and enjoyed exploring the rocky cliffs. The inlet is especially beautiful at dusk.

We chanced upon the place by accident. We were rewarded with some amazing whale watching. There is plenty of parking and toilets provided. East beach access.

Nice views from the point as we watch for whales. Lots of dog poop not collected by owners which is annoying as there is a dump point at the car park.

Always make sure we see the ocean from this viewing point. Just sitting in the car even on a cool day is wonderful. Walk up the path to get a better view of this spectacular place.

We went because it is listed as dog friendly .. and it is a great green space to take the dogs for a run...but the only water access is very rocky.

This was a lovely place to sit and watch the waves. It was too chilly to venture far, but some others ventured to the beach.

What a wonderful place to walk, contemplate and let your dog run.
It’s not a big reserve but the views over the bright blue ocean are exquisite. There are informative panels of the native fauna and local landowners.
There are wooden recliners for those wanting to take a load off and rest.
There is a car park right on the edge of the cliff that looks onto the beach and lake.
Toilets are available.
Solid concrete steps down to the beach below which is a dog beach and you can let them off the leash.
Looks like they are doing some work to the viewing platform during the winter.
