Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Mainly a whale watching station, but no whales when we were there!
A fairly long walk for a couple of people with a bad back and a gammy leg! - Only one dodgy chair to rest on about 1/2 way there.... however it was mostly flat and pretty good, except a couple of spots.... If the whales were around it would be worth the trip....

they were doing a lot of work to it and did not feel anywhere near as pretty. When you go during off season this is prob what you would expect. Looking forward to summer!

The short point beach / lookout is a must at sunrise and sunset. Really nice seats and lookout in the reserve to watch the surf. The short walk to the look out at sunrise is worth the early wake up great for dogs and family’s.

Beautiful beach, with seats on the grass, a lovely walk to a grassy hill and easy access to rock pools!

We did the Mundooi walk across from the parking. We did the walk, and came back along the beach.
The walk starts with a wade across Merimbual creek. We saw Rosellas, plenty of yellow tailed black Cockatoos and lucky enough to spot a curled up red belly black snake by the track, hidden away in the grass, and on our way back along the beach we came across a nesting shore bird.
The up close and gliding image of the majestic black Cockatoos, with their shrill cry in the background over the bushes, and then going over a track mount with the beach coming into view, has been a memorable experience for me.

Great place to watch the whales migrating. We were lucky enough to be there when a mega pod was passing by. Great vantage point and top spot for a picnic.

Perfect location to see the sunrise over the ocean and the sunset over the hills. Toilet facilities, neat and clean. Beautiful sculpture at the entry to the beach. The sand on the beach is so soft, it squeaks when you walk on it. The reserves pays tribute to the Aboriginals we are the orginal land owners of the reserve

I enjoyed a walk along the paths with interesting signs about the fauna and flora and indigenous history. Liked the option to explore the rock platform or walk down to the beach.

Nice beach, plenty of parking, and great views. You can walk along the rocks, or just sit on the nice grass. Great place.
