Loved this walk!! Dean was very informative and ensured that we got the most out of it! Long and exhausting but totally manageable by anyone with a reasonable fitness level. Would recommend it to my friends.

Took a snorkeling tour of the reef. It was fantastic seeing all of the many colors of the coral and fish. Lord Howe Island is a very special place and this tour really showed it off.

We snorkelled in a broad number of locations in the Lagoon. The operators Dean and Kayla were excellent hosts and very knowledgeable of both the natural and cultural history of Lord Howe Island. The water was warm (27-28 deg C), which was wonderful to swim in, but hard corals were observed bleaching. I can highly recommend this tour operation.

Hey! Thank you for the review, we are glad you enjoyed our services. It is unfortunate the coral is bleaching due to the high water temperatures, however it is being monitored by Marine Parks.

We couldn’t recommend Dean highly enough for this truly once in a lifetime experience. We felt in safe hands the whole time and really enjoyed the challenge - it was certainly not easy (both physically and mentally) but that is what you sign up for with this trek. It is in no way a hike but more of a climb with tree roots, boulders and intense inclines - with the descent being more challenging than the ascent in some ways. An absolute must-experience while on the island.

What a fantastic experience climbing Mt Gower and snorkelling the reefs with Kayla. The climb was spectacular and super challenging but so rewarding. The snorkelling was the best I’ve ever seen in Australia.
Kayla’s knowledge of her home island is extraordinary and to come away from these days knowing so much more about LHI was a big plus. You have to at least take the snorkelling trip and for those who love hiking, get yourselves up Mt Gower.

The Environmental Tours team really know their stuff! Their knowledge of the reef ecology and creatures and fantastic ability to cater for all (those who want to snorkel & those just viewing through the glass) is second to none. We saw so many spectacular fish & corals and it's great to know that people like Kayla (our guide) are so passionate about keeping it pristine. A totally fabulous way to spend two hours!

We did the ultimate snorkelling and the mount gower trek on our honeymoon. We had Kayla for both experiences, she was fantastic, very knowledgeable on all things Lord Howe and we would 100% recommend.

My partner and I went on an ultimate snorkelling trip in the lagoon with LHE tours.

It was windy with quite a lot of chop, but we did get to snorkel some pretty great spots with good fish and coral diversity.

I would have enjoyed (and did expect) a bit more information on what we were viewing, but none was forthcoming.

Despite the young woman who skippered the boat being very confident and competent, she didn't really seek to connect with our group.

All up though, it was a pretty good experience which would have been improved by better weather and a bit more chatter.

Our family did the Ultimate Snorkel tour with Dean. We've been to Lord Howe Island before but never to the sites he took us to. Fish were amazing,Dean was attentive to all of us, gave us some pointers. We had originally booked for Tuesday but the weather looked iffy. I walked down, chatted with them and they graciously rebooked us free of charge.
