Free entry. They are a really beautiful spot in the morning when the sun rises, especially in the winter when it's chilly there.

Highly recommend this place we had a swim Friday afternoon and found it so relaxing. We came back after dinner at 9pm with ppl we had met at the caravan park and stayed an hour. We all had the best sleep ever that we went back on Saturday night after dinner. Again we all had the best sleep. There is... More

You wouldn't expect to be able to use open baths in the outback in May. But the Artesian Baths are fed by hot artesian water, and even though the outside air is cool, it is necessary to get into the baths gradually as they are very warm. There is something wonderful about sitting and dangling your legs in the warm... More

I have never slept so well before! It is very relaxing but very hot, a lot hotter than we expected. Once you ease your way in its absolutely beautiful. The showers, toilets and change rooms were very clean and well maintained .

The baths are great. Very clean and well maintained. It is a great way to end the day and met people from everywhere. We heard several stories from people there about the improvements in their health after spending time at the baths.

Loved the Artesian Baths. Very hot. A must see when you are in Lightning Ridge. We went late at night and felt like one of the locals.

Had a lovely time soaking in the hot pools. can get a little busy but there is still plenty of room. everyone there seemed considerate of others. It really helped our aching bones after a full day of fossicking.

Visited with the intention of bathing but after feeling the water at 40deg plus decided not to bother. Intended to stay a while and talk to bathers but left to escape the swarms of pests little flys.

The Artesian baths are hot, around 37c so be prepared they are also free so don't expect to be alone, open all but 2 hours a day so plenty of access. It is quite a site when you go, people sitting on the edge chatting, a few in all the way, but it does take a little while to get... More

A wonderful relaxing experience that is free. The pool is clean and well maintained as are the shower/toilet and changing facilities. For sun shade we went early morning and late afternoon, even over the school holiday period there were no crowds. A short distance out of town so need to drive there. Very hot water so take your time to... More
