My family enjoyed the forty degree water, particularly during a rare storm at the Ridge. It was too hot for me, but fun to dip my toes into.

This attraction is a must do in Lightening Ridge but with the environment being so harsh it is a little raw. Hard to keep the area spotless but it is well set up for bathers with steps and rails into the baths. Showers located conveniently,...More

The hot artesian pools were too hot for us, 43c was more than we expected but the days were also hot The complex is great and it would be better in winter

Looks like a swimming pool. Need to shower before entering the water for those that don't read signs like myself. Water is very hot. Relaxing and refreshing.

When in Lightning Ridge there is nothing better than ending your day at the Thermal pools. Clean relaxing a chance to look at the night sky. Easy to find but need to drive there. Watch for kangaroos around the area.

Lovely treat at the end of a long hot day. Water was so warm/hot it relaxed our bodies and left skin feeling revitalised. Great time to visit at sunset.

Air temperature is too hot during the day but ideal in the evening in Summer. Pool is open 24 hours but closed from 10am to 12 noon for cleaning. Seems to be a great meeting place plus picnic tables.
