Had a look at Amigos Castle while doing the red door tour. Pretty quirky and interesting. Amazing to think that it was built by one bloke. Do check it out.

Intriguing construction, one man's vision of determination. Using various elements i.e. wood, metal, brick to create inspirational pieces with witty comments and verse to accompany them in the decorated surrounds

If you are bored and need something to do go and see Amigos castle. It's an unfinished labour of love by one person. There is an art gallery there as well showing painting by a local artist.

Take cash! Some great artwork to see too, an amazing amount of work has gone into this place and great to get a detailed history on it from the guide.

What one man can do with no mechanical assistance is quite amazing . When you look out the back where he lives , he has kept the 44 gallon drums .Pity the building is not finished

What a fantastic and unique place, castle built out of stones and cement, all done by hand by one Italian man!! AWESOME job and what a monumental effort!!!!! Inspiring! A must see and do if in lightning Ridge.
