This is the 3rd Festival I have attended. Each year, slowly more people join us 3 friends, who meet now each year at Leeton.

My wife and I attended the inaugural Australian Art Deco Festival in Leeton in July 2019. It was a superb event, celebrating everything wonderful about the era, the dress styles, the music, the dancing, the period cars, the casino and games of the era, artworks and imagery, the Speakeasy, all celebrated in many of Australia’s best examples of quality buildings of the Art Deco era, (circa ~ 1919 - 1939, between the two world wars).
Despite their best efforts in 2020 and 2021, both annual events were sadly cancelled due to the impact of Covid. Both were well into the planning, so this year’s event in July 2022 will be just superb I’m sure. We’ll be back again in 2022 in wearing our finest era clothing to the various events.

Can wholeheartedly recommend this event, scheduled for early July, to all those attracted to Art Deco era (the early 20th century, in particular the 1920s & 1930s), - this event combines history with a sense of fun, along with regional hospitality. Would suit a variety of people - singles, couples, families, and friends with a mix of day and evening events to cover all interests. We attended the 2019 festival and thoroughly enjoyed it, and booked to return last year in 2021. Sadly this had to be cancelled due to Covid but hopefully it's full steam ahead for 2022!

We fell in love with this fantastic festival when we attended it in 2020. Leeton’s history and architecture definitely make this festival a must-see event. We loved our time during the Festival so much that we planned to return for it again in 2021. And then COVID happened.
While we were greatly disappointed that after all the organisers' hard work the festival was cancelled, they really impressed us with the effort they put in. Not only to try and make it work (despite COVID) but to then work with ticket holders, keeping us in the loop and up to date when COVID forced their hand and the festival was cancelled. We were so pleased to hear they had no plans on letting it stop them and were already planning the next year's Australian Art Deco Festival.
We look forward to returning in 8-10 July 2022 — it's already marked on our calendar!
We would absolutely recommend this festival to anyone who loves the Art Deco period. We enjoyed every minute of the festival.
