Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Just loved the view over the Cathedral Rocks. What a wonderful geological formation. We drove to the top and photographed down over the rock platform to the rocks. Would love to return at sunrise and take some photos. Am sure it would be quite spectacular.

Don't come to late in the day as the sun will be behind the hill and you won't have the rocks illuminated. Also try for low tide if you're keen to get inside the cave for that unique view.

The blurb about this "attraction" reminded me of the Prometheus trailer. It looked and sounded like a great sight but was a massive let down. I don't know what it started as, but we found a small pile of rubble off a series of backstreets that resembled any other pile of indistinguishable rocks. Still better than Prometheus, though.

We visited in mid afternoon but perhaps a visit during sunrise or sunset would give beautiful photographic opportunities, depending on the tide of course. You have to park your car a fair distance away and walk past a sewerage plant to get there. But it's worth catching a whiff of that horrible stink to go and have a look a these rocks.

This is a cool destination. If you want to get into the cave, approach from Jones Beach. Not sure I'd recommend going in the cave in high tide (certainly not alone) - I went 2 hours after high tide and still got very wet, and plenty of surf rushing over my legs up to my knees (was part of the thrill/adventure though). I found this location lovely at night and day.

We had a little spare time, so we made a quick visit to this sea stack off the coast at Minnamurra. The best view is accessed by walking through the public land at the back of the houses along the access road-just be aware of the cliffs! It only needs a fairly brief stop, but worth a short detour to check it out.

I could not recommend too much about this place as there is nothing to see. Just a simple rock unfortunately.

When we pulled up I wasn't sure we were at the right place. We walked further down the road to check that the rocks were not further along the coastline. When it was obvious we were at the right spot you could see that one of the rocks did resemble a cathedral. However it was much smaller than I had expected and was no more remarkable than many sea worn rocks along the coast which may resemble something or other. Do not lose any sleep if you do not get to this one.

Drove by on the way to the blowhole. It was nice to look at it. Easy to take pictures. No place to stop here never got out of the car. Its located behind a house that backs up to the sea. The street was narrow with locals parking on it. I would not take a bus here. I would say it was a 2 minute stop.
