Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Easy, flat, well marked tracks with spectacular views at the end of the Shoalhaven River, Tullowa Dam and Lake Yarrunga. The absolute highlight though was the beautiful wildflowers throughout the bush so if you are in the area late September/early October do not miss it!

We did this walk while staying at the Kangaroo Valley Bush Retreat.
It is a good walk if you enjoy walking in the Australian bush and observing the fauna and flora.
Plenty of birds flying around enjoyed their bird songs.

This is a very easy and accessible flat and wide track for a walk but we found it a little dull. It's enclosed by typical Australian bush except at the viewpoints so not much to see and little in way of birds. Basically it's a single path to a junction where you can choose to do one or more of three tracks leading to different but similar views of the river and dam. The shortest is around 3k return from the start point. All three total around 8.5k. Personally I think there are better walks in the area.

We did the lake view walk it was a very easy to achieve in under an hour including time to enjoy the view.
The view at the end was stunning. The walk there was not the most interesting but short enough.
The track is not well marked from the road with the car park / pull in area the most obvious sign, but once you are on it the path is well signposted.
The walk is fairly flat suiting all fitness levels.

The view at the end is worthwhile and it’s an easy and clear path. Unfortunately there were no wildflowers in late August - and for such a heavily promoted walk in the area the carpark should really be sign-posted.

Easy level bush walk that splits to three views of the Tallowa Dam and lake. After you've looked at the Fish Elevator at the dam this is about all that is left to do. I'm not knocking it as I say, an easy level bush walk.

I was surprised at the high rating of this walk. The fire trail is flat, with no views along the way and boring. To make matters worse was it was humid after light rain so we were covered in flies the entire way. At the view point of Shoalhaven river walk we couldn't sit to enjoy as we got ambushed by the flies.
For a better trail, I recommend Drawing Rocks. It's probably a similar drive time and much more rewarding in terms of views and fitness.
This is a very easy walk, and should be marked accordingly.
I would recommend walking around the town or drive the scenic route than walk the Three Views. But each to their own.

If you're feeling energetic these three walks are a fantastic way to spend a morning or afternoon. The three walks are beautifull in Spring with all the little flowers everywhere.

Hi - is the start of the walk easy to find? Where is it in relation to the Tallowa Dam picnic area?

Very easy. Turn into Mount Scanzi Road. Drive for about 12 mins. The speed limit goes from 100 to 60. At the 60 sign to the left is the start of the walk and to the right is the car park...
