We had an absolutely great time. Kayaking around lunchtime and all we had to do was follow the instructions and paddle, it went like clockwork. The bonus was that these guys did platypus spotting and team offered to take us out on New Year’s Eve because we were leaving the next day.
Again like clockwork we saw a platypus. We spent 1.5 hours spotting and our 5 year old daughter was engrossed with the stories.
There is nothing better when you go on an adventure and you are dealing with the owners of the business.

Fantastic morning paddling down the river from Hampden Bridge to the Bundeena campgrounds.
Mike the owner is one of the friendliest and most enthusiastic people you could hope to meet and had us set up to paddle in no time at all.
The trip down the rive has some very gently rapids and then wide open river surrounded by the covered banks and an assortment of wildlife.
Once at the campground Mike was there to meet us, we had a quick swim and were returned to our car with no fuss.
I would highly recommend both the company and the activity should you be in the Kangaroo Valley

Billy was a pleasure to deal with from the get go and made every effort to arrange and plan for us to achieve the 2 night kayak/camping we had hoped for. Maps, suggestions, banter and safety briefings all included. We had a brilliant trip and loved the rope swing, sunsets, misty mornings and heaps of wildlife. The camping down near Fossickers Flat was perfect and after a windy return to the dam, we were met by Grace who charmed us all the way back to KV for a cold beer at the pub. Ill be back!

Billy's passion, local knowledge and expertise are exceptional, he took great care of us to ensure we enjoyed our Bridge to Bendeela experience. We all had a leisurely, fun paddle & enjoyed the tranquility as well as searching for wildlife. I definitely recommend getting the 'wet bags' as a precaution especially if you are taking phones etc along. Billy welcomed us warmly, gave great instruction prior to us embarking on our paddle & was there waiting for us at the end to bring us and the kayaks back to base.

We had an absolute blast paddling down the river today!
The $50pp for a couple of hours was well worth it. The few small rapids we went through were pretty cool and easy to navigate.
It was all very relaxing and great to be able to just sit back at times and let the current take you down too.
Mike was an absolute pleasure to deal with. He drops you off just near the bridge and then picks you up down at Bendeela a couple of hours later. No rush. No fuss.
You could easily do the 5km trip in 1.5hrs but we enjoyed just meandering along, absorbing the serenity.
We took some food and drinks with us in the kayak at someone’s suggestion. We should have listened to Mike and not worried about it. It got wet in the back of the kayak at the first rapid within 200m of starting our trip.
We would happily do some more trips with Mike should the opportunity arise!

We were recommended to this company and had such an amazing time would highly recommend it.
Michael who was our guide was incredible with our young children 8 and 10
Took us to places that you would never find and was very encouraging and patient with the children.
We did a cave expedition and the kids had to orientate our way back.
Great family time together - we all loved every minute.
Will definitely use this company again and would recommend them highly

We had the best morning kayaking 6km down the Kangaroo River. Charlie was a friendly, knowledgeable and entertaining guide and made the more nervous members of our party feel at ease. The river is high at the moment, so the “rapids” were extremely gentle (Charlie got out and walked back up one set to rescue a “stranded” kayaker!). The river current carried us, although we still had to paddle, but it was easily achievable for all of us.
Mike was fantastic to deal with and put together this bespoke morning for our party. We were 3 kids, aged 10-12 and 2 adults. I would highly recommend this company and will use them again.

Did the Hampden Bridge to Bendeela kayak trip, Awesome trip. Mike looked after us and he was an absolute legend. So much local knowledge and so passionate about the amazing area he lives in. He put us on to a couple of hidden bush walks after our kayak trip that were so cool to do. The hike to the hidden waterfall was tough but enjoying a cold shower at it’s base made it worth it. Thanks Mike

We did a kayaking trip with friends and it was fantastic. The information at the start of how to navigate the rapids was incredibly helpful, as well as how to stay clear of the wind. Would highly recommend and definitely use this father and son team again.

Wow. What an amazing experience we had. First of all the booking experience wouldn't have been easier. After doing my online research and calling a couple of places in the area I could tell this was the company to go with. Dion was super chilled, helpful and easy going from the start. We summed him up with "Fun, friendly and Professional". He and his lovely wife helped us out, loading our gear and gave us some invaluable advice on where to camp. We couldn't have enjoyed the trip any more. So much beauty and wildlife everywhere. Paddling into the small inlets and coves along the way allowed us to creep up on so many water dragons, birds, goats, wallabies etc. The canoes and gear we rented were great and had loads of storage big waterproof canisters etc. We all wish we'd had more time to enjoy the wild secluded Paradise.
We'd all recommend Kangaroo Valley Adventure Co without any hesitation and hope we can come back one day and do the other trip.
Thanks Dion for going above and beyond to make out trip truly memorable. The cold Fat Yaks hit the spot and we toasted you after our long drive home.
