Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Halcyon Bookstore is just next to this great shop. This is the best bookshop in the area, in Sydney, and possibly in New South Wales. I come here at least once a month and I always find something - from an old Beatles record to Marilyn Monroe book or comic book or a book on sports cars. Movie posters. Even first editions of almost any author. David also knows his stuff; and Amandas adjoining Nostalgia Factory bricabrac store is worth another hour. Just another reason Kangaroo Valley is a weekend destination that won’t fail to please.

This has to be one of my favourite vintage haunts. It reminded me of my Grandmother. I have been back three times in two weeks and bought antiques and cream, soap, manchester. I go every time we are down in Kangaroo Valley. There is so much to browse through. My partner loved the collection of books and records and bought several things too. My girlfriend spent hours looking at her Mother in all the 1960's magazines. Thank you to the owners of this wonderful myriad of joy.

For an antique store, this is pretty good. There is something for everyone, especially if you are into books. There is a separate book building to the rear. There are a lot of books!

My husband and I had great time reflecting on our childhood years as we perused magazines and much memorabilia from that era. We left the store with some rare treasures and a grest sense of satisfaction! A great visit!

Competition for tourist dollars along KV's retail strip is pretty intense, but I got the impression that the Nostalgia Factory more than holds its own. The contents of the shop are really wide ranging - there truly is something here for everyone - as well as being very well organised and beautifully presented. The record collection is particularly impressive, but then so is everything else. We came away with a straw hat - well priced and selected from a good range.

A charming store jam packed with vintage goodies. I found it very helpful that they group like products together so you can zoom in on a particular area if something interests you. But definitely leave enough time to browse the whole store as the treasures from the past are plentiful. The customer service was spot on. We were left in peace to browse but then the lovely young woman serving was so helpful when we needed it. I highly recommend this store.
