Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Just love this place, especially when the tide is going out,,, the kids (and adults) just love it 😊. Great to take all the family. Just make sure you check the tides before you go or the water could be missing 😁. Still heaps of fun though.

We were staying a few kilometers away so we drove by this beach several times then decided to explore it. There is a parking lot with limited spaces. The beach is quite nice, almost white sand, and there are (or were when we visited) endless children jumping off the bridge for the main road into the Moona Moona Creek which looked like great fun.

This a really popular park for families that is close to the centre of Huskisson, with very good toilet and picnicking facilities, including shelters and BBQs. Focus is on the adjoining lagoon; with its clean sand and shallow water it is a haven for young children and their parents. For the more adventurous there is a rock platform to explore and Huskisson Beach is just around the corner. For the really adventurous there is even a bridge to jump off (into the creek).

Wonderful early morning SUP in the creek. Paddled over shoals of fish and several sting rays. Crystal clear water. Visited some remote beaches and learnt about the eco system in the bay. Cant wait to do the sunset trip.

After spending two days at the beach, we found this fabulous water inlet. It was a great place for little children to play in the water and dig in the sand at low tide. We were able to relax more here as we felt the children were safer here than at the beach.

Absolutely beautiful place. Great bridge for jumping off. Lovely water for floating around in. Great toilet facilities. Mr Whippy came in the afternoon so that was a bonus! Absolutely beautiful, very unique place.

This place is great for young children. A lovely swimming and paddling spot or food to walk through the ankle deep water depending on the tide.
There is also some shade.
There is also a parking area, picnic area with an electric bbq and covered seating area for large groups.
The beach is around the corner just next to the caravan park.
The beach is an off leash dog area after 4pm and before 8am (daylight savings).
Also lots of Bush bunnies around if you have little kids who may be keen to check them out.

Moona Moona Creek is one of my favourite places to spend the day during summer. It offers covered BBQ areas if you are lucky and early enough to snag a spot.

On high tide you'll see kids and adults alike jump off the bridge and on low tide children wade in knee deep water. There's a 200 m walk over sand if you want direct access to the ocean.

It can get quite crowded, but everyone has always been very friendly and with a toilet block so close, it's the perfect place for families or elderly people who wish to enjoy the beach without having to walk far in sand to get to the water.

A very good location offering calm shallow waters for small children with some shaded areas. The site is tidal and also affords access to two beaches with occasional surf.
