Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

A lovely, relaxing, afternoon on the waters of Jervis Bay. Just cruising past secluded beaches on the way to Point Perpendicular was amazing. Seeing Dolphins "Dancing" in the water was a bonus. The Captain and Deckhands, Anthony, Paula and Cloe were on the lookout for anyone distressed . They also had a good commentary. I enjoyed the entire experience, scenery, atmosphere and the only possible way of improving it would be a complimentary non alcoholic drink like tea or coffee or juice at some point of the cruise. I was on the water for 2.5.hours and in need of refreshment upon my return. Perhaps at time of booking, advise what one needs if conditions turn sour. e.g wet weather jacket, thermos of coffee etc. Thanks for a wonderful time. The cruise added a third dimension to my stay on the Sth Coast.

The weather wasn't fantastic, but we still headed out. We did spot two whales with their babies and the captain got close enough for us to take photos and view them both. Unfortunately they didn't perform for us, but we can't complain because we did see them. We saw a couple of dolphins also. Overall, not terribly exciting, but we enjoyed our time on the water none the less. One of the guides (Sonia) was very good at her job, engaging with all the passengers, taking photos and taking the time to chat with everyone.
It was disappointing that the speaker systems wasn't working well and even though the captain was speaking, it was difficult to understand what he was saying... even harder for our Swiss guests!

Small, fast boat took us out. First we saw seals playing near the lighthouse, then we went further out to sea and found a mother whale with a calf. We stayed for about 20 minutes watching them come up for air then it was time to return. Even though we were technically over our time limit, the captain spotted some dolphins and detoured so we could have a quick look. The only problem was rough sea, making it difficult to snap a good photo.

Very enjoyable trip to see hidden treasures of the surrounding coastline. Just beautiful scenery and good explanations of what we were seeing. Also great stopping opportunities to take photos.

They were no whales on the Extreme boat but they kept lookign becasue they didnt want to give us a freebie cupon, the woman beside me was sick and the boat smelled of vomit the moment i got on.
When we got back they told us to get our freebie becasue we didnt see any whales but it was not applicable to that week (since we are on vacay we had to leave before we could use it) what a rip off!
Not suitable for you children!!!

Joined the whale extreme cruise but weather wasn't good and didn't see a whale. Disappointed but the staff tried to make it up by bringing us to see dolphines and seals.

We went out on the "Extreme", a fast comfortable boat. We saw lots of dolphins, seals penguins in the incredibly clear blue waters.

Fantastic was to spend the afternoon, cruising the bay in search of dolphins, we found a small pod and followed for a while then cruised back to land for dinner, very nice..
