The Jervis Bay Maritime Museum features a world renowned collection of maritime artefacts and navigational and surveying instruments. The Museum exhibits a range of nautical equipment, models, photographs, paintings, drawings and objects relating to the history and heritage of the Jervis Bay area. The Museum is home to the historic Lady Denman ferry and other historic vessels. Located in Huskisson, Jervis Bay, the Museum enjoys a waterfront location on Currambene Creek. Positioned in a beautiful bush setting in Jervis Bay, the complex includes a large recreation area with native gardens, a mangrove boardwalk, fish feeding pond, boathouse and historic buildings.

This is a great little Museum. There is also a wonderful boardwalk over the mangroves which is very interesting as well as a lovely walk in the sun. Wooden boat restoration on site is also fascinating

a regional maritime museum. when we visited they had a great navy exhibit going. the shop has a good section of maritime reading etc

The museum is well worth the visit but not just for the history of all things nautical in JB, theres a great mangrove walk and big outdoor eating area to have a picnic. Well worth visiting.

This is one of the most comprehensive collections of maritime artefacts. The Lady Denman Ferry brings back wonderful memories of my travels on Sydney Harbour. A must see when your in Jervis Bay

Lots of information on the local area and it's maritime history. Full sized old Sydney Ferry on show. There was also an interesting art exhibition on when we were there. Well worth a visit.
