This is a great introduction to the Jervis Bay Area. Aboriginal history is integrated throughout the museum. Make sure to visit the Lady Denham - it’s of the few remaining original Sydney Harbour ferries. It’s beautifully preserved. Really worthwhile.

The small museum is excellent with very interesting exhibits very well presented and maintained and certainly lacking the mustiness which is often found in small country museums. The display of the Lady Denman ferry was particularly interesting, although it was disappointing that access to the upper deck and the seat I had occupied regularly for many years while commuting on the ferry in Sydney was regrettably not available. The museum as staffed by friendly volunteers and a visit is recommended.

Surprisingly very interesting museum and enjoyed seeing the old Sydney ferry there. The only improvement would be outside as very little to see in the gardens.
