Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Lovely ride, the captain was very nice and spent time answering the kid's questions and showing them how the ferry works.
They loved it.

Such a relaxing trip over to husky and the captain was so cool! Water was so clear too! If you are ever in the Callala bay/beach or Myola area I definitely recommend!

Captain Dave is fantastic! He was so accommodating to our family group of 9 and the kids had a great time helping out as Co Captain's. We highly recommend a trip with Captain Dave. Thank you 😊

Dave was super friendly and accomodating. He didn’t hesitate picking us up outside of his ordinary timetable. We have used Dave’s service over the last few years and we look forward to seeing you next time Dave!

Dave was AMAZING!!! He was so friendly and even let a couple of the kids drive the boat, which was so fun!! I also mentioned on our trip home that I wanted to go paddle boarding, and he pulled up next to his paddle board and let me hop on!! it was honeslty such a fun experince and is perfect for families as he is amazing with kids! Will 100% go again ❤️

Today was the first time my family and I had went on the husky ferry. The trip was absolutely amazing, My family and I jumped off at the end thanking David for such a fun trip. He was the absolute character and was very very very nice. 100% worth it. The weather was nice and warm with a hint of wind, but regardless the water was a beautiful blue colour. David had been kind enough to to let me steer the boat which was an amazing First time experience, and really can’t thank him enough.

This wonderful service is well worth checking out. Captain Dave takes you in a short trip across the water from one beach to the big town, affectionately known as Husky.
Anyone traveling Australia’s Eastern coastline will be familiar with the times you have to take a big drive back into the mainland to avoid the creeks and waterways. Always a shame when it would be a beautiful five to ten minutes as the crow flies.
Anyway, Captain David and the Husky Ferry provide a faster and much more scenic option.
The ferry runs regularly back and forth and is probably the most affordable way to enjoy a beautiful coastline sight seeing trip for ten minutes or so.
Dave is a good chat and great with your little ones. He’s also really flexible - if it’s busy, he’ll just keep going back and forth so no one misses out, even when the timetable says hourly! He’ll also provide a private sight seeing cruise for your family or small group and apparently the evening sunset cruise is amazing ❤️
Check it out ❤️

Highly recommended.
Kim and her dad are amazing. Punctual, accomodating, welcoming and smiling. They ll take you for a boat ride and show you amazing things around.
They have music on the boat too.
That boat ride was unplanned, but after the 3 days trip to Jervis bay, I can proudly say it was the main highlight of our trip. Locked in beautiful memories in our hearts with Husky Ferries.

A wonderful experience for kids as they are allowed to be the “captain “ and steer the ferry! Beautiful scenery and a great way to cross from Callahan beach to Huskinsson

We are a group of 10 adults and 5 kids, Can we fit all together in one ride? And how we can book it?

No I think your group is too large for the little Ferry, sadly. The Ferry is like a ‘tinny’ that fisherfolk use. I think 8 people would be as much as it could take. Captain David might be able to take your group in two lots - since the trip is only 10 to 15 minutes of time.

I do not know but I would assume so either give Husky ;Ferry a ring or alternatively the Huskisson VI C they should know for certain.
