Stand Up Paddling is a rapidly growing new sport. It offers fun, fitness and a fabulously scenic way to get around on the water. It is easier than it looks and almost anyone can do it. Jervis Bay Stand Up Paddle is an ASI (Academy of Surfing Instructors) accredited school, and abides by the high international standards for Stand Up Paddle schools.Anyone with enough physical fitness to take a one hour walk and with basic swimming skills can participate. You will be provided with a quality flat-water cruising board, a paddle and a rash shirt (or wetsuit in winter). You will need to bring appropriate swimwear, towel, sun block and a great sense of humour.

First time paddling experience. I loved that we were up and paddling within the first 15 mins of the lesson. I loved it so much I bought my own board! Great way to spend my 50th birthday..

We went at 10.30am, not being early risers :) We were a group of 7 and had a lovely time - no one fell in, and the kids (9 - 13) all took to it just as easily as the adults. Mel and Jason were both really nice. We saw quite a lot of wildlife, though no dolphins, unfortunately!

Fantastic lesson with a great teacher. Once you know how to SUP properly its easy. Great activity with my teenage daughter. Serene and peaceful. Amazing. Thanks Mel!

Mel took us out to learn how to SUP and it was so much fun. It is harder then is looks but once you get the hang of it, it is great fun and pretty easy. We went out at 7am and while that can be difficult to get up at that time on holiday it made for perfect conditions... More

Easier than I thought. The session is very useful and safe. Can see the fish when paddling. Worth to wake up early for this.

We booked a private session with Jason, it was a misty rainy day but we still saw a lot of fish, dolphins and even a giant stingray! Amazing activity, super fun, and Jason was a fabulous teacher and tour guide. We did not fall in - our hair was dry at the end of the session :) Can't wait to... More

Originally booked for 5 people over the long weekend, but ended up having 8 wanting to attend. Mel was really flexible in accommodating all of us. The lesson and hire was also a reasonable price. After a quick lesson, we ended up having a bit of a tour through the inlet with Jason. It was a real highlight to have... More

Never done it before the experience was only tarnished by the weather that is not their fault so absolutely no complaints
