Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This little shop is filled with all sorts of interesting items. Gifts, plants, soaps, woolens and art works. I usually find a little something among their amazing collection and enjoy a chat with the lovely ladies working there. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend a visit.

I searched out Botanica Romantica as I liked the look of it from here and was more than surprised when I visited last week. Simone is lovely and has done a great job of sourcing so many interesting pieces and wonderful gifts. Her beautiful potted flowers combined with many different choices of pots make wonderfully inexpensive gifts. Just wandering around the shop there is a surprise in every "nook and cranny". Thank you Simone for sharing your story and helping me to make my new found friends in Harden very happy with their gifts. Great signage up on highway but if you miss that then yes, opposite the IGA. It was open on Sunday too. Please visit as you won't be disappointed.

I stumbled upon this shop when I popped into the IGA across the road. It was so lucky I needed something at the supermarket, so followed the blue 'shopping centre' sign off the main drag as I was passing through Harden. If I hadn't done that I would have missed out on this gem.
This shop has a bit of everything. There was some nice old furniture and vintage clothes and handbags (nearly succumbed to two of those!), as well as great hand knitted scarves, gloves and beanies (I did succumb to one of those), candles, jewelry, and so many other lovely things, plants (hence the Botanica in the name - and I also walked out with three of those), lovely pots, even a basket of lemons. The best thing is the prices are so reasonable - had I known I was going there, I would have come prepared with some more money, as there were many things I would have happily bought.
This would be a great place for present buying, though be prepared to spoil yourself while you're there. It would be very hard to step in this shop and only think of others. If it has any flaws, it would be that it's so crowded with wonderful things, it seems impossible to take them all in on a single visit. Unfortunately I was just passing through, so couldn't go back for another visit (yet!).
Unfortunately, I live more than seven hours drive away, so can't go back as soon as I would like. However, since it's only an hour and a half from Canberra, I plan to take my sister there on a drive, next time I visit her in Canberra.
They gave me a brochure on an antiques and hand-crafted trail, so hopefully we can make a day of it and check out some of these other shops. If they're anything like Botanica Romantica, they'll be well worth a visit.

What a pleasure to revisit this cute store in its new location. It is always filled with interesting & unique curiosties, lush plants & beautiful pots of colour. They are supporters of local produce and have a wide selection of tasty goods from Harden & surrounds. I highly recommend you visit when touring the hill tops region.
