Peaceful walk through the National Park
Jun. 2021
Loved the centre but absolutely loved the 6.6 km Wonga walk, which took in a lot of different types of trees I hadn’t seen for years, especially the Red Cedar. This walk took in Tristania and Crystal Shower Falls, which were flowing well. It is just so peaceful doing this walk.

The Skywalk was fabulous
Jun. 2021
The day was fine and sunny, and the view went on for ever. We could easily see the ocean, and the view of the surrounding mountains was crystal clear.

Beautiful Rain Forest
May 2021
We did not bother with the Center but started at Glade Picnic Area and walked to Crystal Shower Falls. Going down through the rain forest was great and the various trees and flora well signed. The falls were very pretty. The walk back was up hill but okay and well worth doing

Great place to stop to learn about the local area and take in a couple of walks.
Apr. 2021
Called in while exploring the area. Excellent gift shop with a small theatre playing a DVD on local flora and fauna as well as a great range of products. (Birthday presents for some grandchildren now sorted out!). Staff were very friendly and helpful, looking in their store for a size not on display. The walk along the canopy boardwalk is very interesting with great views of the valley at the end as well as the area below and amongst the tree-tops. Only about 50m long so not a problem for the infirm or those in a wheelchair.

Absolutely Breathtakingly Brilliant
Apr. 2021 • Family
This was the highlight of our holiday. Dorrigo Rainforest centre and national park was absolutely amazing. The skywalk/observation point had the most spectacular views. We chose to do the round trip walk which took about 2.5 hours and each step was well worth it. The natural beauty of the rainforest and waterfalls was so beautiful.

Start at Glade Picnic area Carpark
Sep. 2020
If you just want to see the main water falls rather than an extensive bush trek start at the glade picnic area. Walk to Crystal shower falls then onto Tristania Falls and then back track to the car park. Then drive to rainforest centre to do the sky walk. If you start at the Rainforest centre these falls are part of the Wonga Walk but on this walk you walk for miles through scrub with no views and it all looks the same except for the 2 falls. You gain nothing extra from the bush walking as trees are too dense for any views.

Fantastic day in nature
Feb. 2021 • Solo
I had a wonderful afternoon in Dorrigo National Park. The walk was pretty steamy, but if you’re happy to take it slow it is not challenging for most with modest fitness.

It’s well worth doing the full loop to see both waterfalls, with lots of stunning valley views and awesome trees to inspire along the way. Take a few moments to pause too, so that the butterflies and birds will show themselves

My step into 2021 - New Years Day!
Jan. 2021
Breathtaking stepping into the arms of nature......pure bliss!

This was my welcome to 2021 New Years Day. I packed my back pack and did a hike for several hours through this captivating and breathtaking rainforest. It was overcast with mist on the ranges and the light sprinkle of gentle rain. The waterfalls were filled with an abundance of water cascading with their magic and energy that filled you with nourishing vibes.

This is a must do and will now be a regular adventure that I will par take in. Take your time on the walk to read about the vegetation and history of the area. the shop had a great range of books. The one I purchased was The Oldest Foods on Earth. The staff were engaging and it was evident their passion for this enchanting land.

Must see Rainforest Park
Nov. 2020 • Couples
We first came here around 23 years ago and we're interest to see it again as we were in the area.
It's well worth a visit.
There's walks of different lengths and difficulty to choose from. We started with the short sky walk, then moved on to the longer (2+km) walk to the picnic ground and back. While not too difficult, there are some hills to go up and down. There's a couple of places to sit along the way. It's mostly peaceful walking through the rainforest. We heard and saw lots of birdlife.
The path is firm and easy to walk on.
Make sure you detour along the bird trail - it's a raised boardwalk through the canopy, with information about birdlife along the way.
The longest walk available was a 6.6km track.
Back at the rainforest centre we stopped at the Canopy Cafe for refreshments (2 kombucha on tap), and rested before we set out for Dorrigo.
Allow yourself 1-3 hours depending on which walk you plan to do.
Highly recommend this attraction.
