About
Since 1988 Two Rivers have specialised in making quality wines from premium grape varietals. Under the watchful eye of award winning Viticulturist Brett Keeping and his wife Linda, Two Rivers is now among the premier vineyards of the Hunter Valley. Our vineyard is situated in the upper reaches of the Hunter Valley on the banks of the region's two dominant waterways – the Hunter and Goulburn rivers which flow on the eastern and southern boundaries of the vineyard. The Two Rivers range is made from classic varietals, producing wines that are fresh, aromatic and full of flavour. Our Reserve Range is only released in exceptional years when selected parcels of fruit deliver outstanding wines with true varietal and regional character. Ancient topography, timeless beauty, award winning wines. Come get to know us.

We called into the winery as part of our visit to Denman. It is such a pretty town and the the vineyard did not let us down. The staff were friendly, the tasting was nice. I had no problem paying the $10 fee as you got a good sample. The cheese and fruit platter was great value at $30 and was our lunch for the day, we couldn't eat it all. Great views and beautifully maintained gardens. Definitely on the must do list when in the Upper Hunter area

What a find! Really flavoursome and sophisticated wines with the most generous and delicious cheese platter you will find. Cellar door is welcoming and beautifully lit; wonderful views of the vineyard with interesting sculptures that draw your eye and camera. Staff were helpful and informed and happy to see visitors; knowledgeable and very welcoming! Recommended to all!

We came from Hollydene Wineries to here. What a difference! From the moment we walked in we were made to feel welcome. It is a beautiful setting, the wine tasting was excellent. We had the $38 platter to accompany the tasting and shared a bottle of wine. The platter was beautifully presented, the wines excellent to my non educated palate.
A very enjoyable and worthwhile experience. Thank you!

One of the best wine tasting’s we have ever done! We left with 1/2 dozen bottles of wine.
$10 per person gets you 4 whites and 4 reds to try. You can pick the wines to try or leave it up to the more than capable staff to choose for you.
We also had the most delicious 🤤 cheese plate to accompany our wine tasting. (They offer cheese platters for $39). They also offer antipasto platters as well but I can’t remember the price for those.
Overall, it was a fantastic experience, with great views to accompany the tasting as well. We will definitely be back for another visit.

Today our group of 6 older ladies shared a fabulous wine tasting with Gretel. The wines were top quality and the service and knowledge provided by Gretel was exceptional. This winery provides spectacular views of the Denman region. We stayed in the 4-bedroom guest cottage, such delightful and well-appointed accommodation.

We sat back & enjoyed the vineyard with its rows of well manicured vines before selecting the platter & 4 glass tasting selection.
Whilst it drizzled over the fields we sat comfortably in their al fresco terrace & marveled at how peaceful this all was.
Efficient, personable & happy to inform us about some of the wines, the "lady of the Vines" was great.
Now the platter & accompaniments really hit the spot as we strolled through what was on the table. A good chat in between rounded out a very lazy long lunch.
This is a must do when in Denman, or Muswellbrook , or Scone.

Dear J1352ENjulief, thank you so much for your really lovely review of Two Rivers.
It is always reassuring for us to know that our customers have been well looked after here. We are spoilt with the best staff and I am so glad you were able to have an enjoyable and relaxing time here. We have worked hard to try and make sure we can load up our platters with as much local produce as we can - so thanks so much for acknowledging them, we love them too! We have been blessed with a great season and after 4 years of drought the gardens have responded so well to the lovely rain we have had.
We look forward to your next visit here.
Cheers
Linda

We spent a day in the Upper Hunter Valley last week including a visit to Two Rivers which was very impressive.
The staff were friendly and knowledgeable, the wines were high quality and the setting was lovely. We enjoyed a tasting flight and cheese platter sitting outside overlooking the vines which was very nice.

Thank you toddtrippas for your very kind review of Two Rivers. We are so pleased you had a lovely time here. Due to Covid we have had to change things up and the 'tasting flights' are proving really popular particularly when you combine it with one of our platters. We agree it is a nice way to spend the afternoon.
Look forward to seeing you again soon.
Cheers

We had an outstanding wine tasting experience at Two Rivers. We were fortunate to have the cellar door to ourselves on a Monday lunchtime. Our host Gretel did a great job of taking us through the wine range. We tasted all the whites at the tasting bench. We then enjoyed tasting the reds with a large cheese and antipasto platter on the verandah overlooking the vines. We particularly enjoyed the Pinot Grigio, Verdelho and Shiraz. We also tasted some local produce - olive oil, dukkah and balsamic vinegar. We left loaded up with wine and other produce.
