Overview
More
Milroy Observatory is the home to the largest public access telescope in Australia with night sky tours available on all clear nights. Bookings are essential. The show starts with a night sky tour with our astronomer and then a number of bright and deep sky objects are observed with our outdoor telescopes and then we go inside the dome to look through the eyepiece of the historic 40inch telescope. See planets, galaxies, nebulas and star clusters amongst other amazing night sky wonders.

Excellent night sky views, with a very knowledgeable and engaging guide. Well worth the visit, they only do small groups, so everyone gets a really good turn. Would definitely recommend and come back.
