On a whim took a trip out to the airfield. Was met by the lady who is the wife of the pilot but having said this, she flys herself and has her own Tiger Moth! Very welcoming and knowledgeable. As I wasn't booked I had to wait a while and she made tea which we drank while watching the skydivers come and go right beside us. The flight was fantastic and should not be missed. This machine is 77 years old so how long will it be possible to do this? Go for it! MartDart

I organised a flight for my wife's 30th last week. From the outset, communication was prompt and helpful. My wife loved the flight - the extra aerobatics are highly recommended! We also asked for the video footage which was great - two cameras mounted to the plane make for some great viewing. Thanks guys!

I had seen the yellow Tiger Moth fly past Clarkes Beach last year and commented that it would be a great experience, so for a Christmas present my husband booked me a 1/2 hour flight. The plane was a 1940 Tiger Moth and was used to train pilots for WW2. I thought I would be scared but I wasn't even nervous. I felt very at ease and Bev and Steve who fly the planes were very friendly and informative. I sat in the front seat and was given a leather hat and goggles which I thought were just for show but were practical and I was very grateful for them when we took off into the sky. It was very breezy but pleasant enough as it was an extremely hot day on the ground. We flew down the coast of Byron Bay and into the Byron Hinterland then back to the coast at Brunswick Heads. The views were breathtaking and I felt very safe at all times.A great experience.I would highly recommend this.

The whole experience was well above expectations. The initial communication with Bev was excellent. Quick responses, friendly and accurate. The presentation of the aircraft was wonderful. She is beautiful, and looks very well maintained. Bev and Steve both made us all feel very welcome and comfortable on arrival. Steve’s quiet confidence, and his attitude around the aircraft, assured me that I was with a real pilot (not a jock). Someone who loves and respects aviation. The flight itself was far more than I had ever expected or experienced. An open cockpit is a “must do” item. Now I can see what they mean by “real flying”. Mission accomplished: Very happy customer, safely back on the ground.

Thank you for your kind words Tim. It was a pleasure to meet you & your wonderful family. We believe we're privileged to be able to offer flights in our Tiger Moth over the most spectacular coastline & hinterland region around Byron Bay. Meeting wonderful people on a daily basis is definitely a bonus.

Me and my girlfriend just did this today, and we had a blast! At first, the plane would not start at first, but after a while they fixed it and we got the long flight instead of the short flight that we bought from the start, and they did not charge us for this! Amazing scenery to be seen, and the feeling of flying in an open cockpit was really something special. And the aerobics was the best thing we have done in our 6 months time of traveling around oz. Really worth the money and is a great experience. Thank you!
