Byron is a beautiful place! I loved it the first time and stayed a few months the second time. I have to leave soon but I will definitely come back. Awesome small town close to Byron as well for some day trips. Lovely cafes, shops, people.. it's not cheap but just enjoy your time and get the byron lifestyle ☺️

Whenever life gets stressful, I come here for a weekend. In spite of its commercialisation, Bryon has retained its friendly, hippy culture. All ages and cultures are welcome here.

We visited Byron Bay on our way to the goldcoast. We visited the lighthouse and drove around town. The center is full of bars and restaurants but all a bit alternative and especially for backpackers.

My daughter and I decided to have a 3 night stay in Byron Bay. My daughter works in Melbourne an I live in New Zealand. I flew to the Gold Coast to meet her. We hired a car and drove 35 minutes to Byron Bay. A really beautiful spot to relax. Weather superb and shopping even better. We certainly enjoyed... More

You'll probably only read this review in the next few days so here's the hot tip ... It's NSW QLD & VIC "schoolies" where high school graduates come up and booze for a week. Relax, we were all there once. Just take a couple more minutes for parking, ALWAYS get a seat with a people watching view and enjoy this... More

Firstly, lots of beautiful beaches to choose from with the main beach and Tallows being our favourites! We walked to the lighthouse which had beautiful views. Tallows beach looked stunning. We visited at the end of October and so were fortunate to watch migrating whales which were breaching very close to shore and 'played' for a good half an hour... More

Everything here is enjoyable. Walking up and down the street and enjoying the variety of shops is fun. Or sitting at the beach loving the view is always a good decision.. can get very very busy here. A must visit though. Lots of places to eat and hang out.

This is a town that knows how to show the visitor a good time. Cheap eats, stunning scenery, a good range of value accommodation. Accessible with all kinds of transport options.

Great for couples weekends, group adventures or a solo retreat. Byron has a lot to offer! The main beach is magic! Cheeky Monkeys is fun for the table top dancers. Eating out is divine but expensive. Plenty of rainbow shops and massage places to pop into. The skydiving is also a thrilling experience, but the highlight for me is always... More

Byron Bay is one of the few places in the world where I can truly relax. Its only 1.5 hours flight from Sydney but as soon as you arrive the 50's style airport makes you feel like you've truly stepped away from the Big City lifestyle. There's no pretentiousness or flashy cars, its all about relaxing, meditating, enjoying the amazing... More
