We love showing people our little slice of paradise in the Cape Byron Marine Park down the beautiful Brunswick River. Groups are small (max 8 people) to be able to give you personalised instruction & for you to really soak in the peacefulness & beautiful surroundings. You'll feel far away from the hustle & bustle floating along surrounded by nature. We love sharing our local knowledge, having grown up in this beautiful part of the world. We've had this business since December 2014 and love to give all our customers the red carpet treatment (even making home made snacks). We can honestly say, "We love our job!" Our customers regularly say, "It's easier than I expected!" So come unplug & unwind with your friends, family, partner or solo and give stand up paddling a go with us. Amazing experience! Not to be missed.

We had such an amazing time paddle boarding with Ricky. He went out of his way to make sure we had an incredibly memorable experience and was so informative about the local area and wildlife. Not only did we have an amazing time paddle boarding, but we learnt so much about the local habitat we were in. The homemade focaccia and snacks were delicious and a lovely way to end a great morning. Would definitely recommend Ricky to anyone who wants to experience paddle boarding with a local expert. Amazing experience

Really great adventure. Even though we were first timers, Ricky and Krystal were able to make it so easy we felt like pros at the end of the session. They even accommodated my 7 year old. And as if the paddle boarding want fantastic enough, we ended the morning with Ricky’s amazing home made bread and dip!

Serene morning on the river

A wonderful way to spend a morning with 3 teens. Close to Byron but so serene. Ricky is a lovely guide and made sure conditions were perfect for our group. Great, stable boards and a part of the area we would not have visited otherwise. Really loved this experience. Home made bread hot the spot afterwards. Highly recommended.

Byron Stand Up Paddle - Fantastic

I was looking for somewhere to learn how to do Stand up Paddle Board. I looked at Mojo, Black Dog and all the others. I read the awful review on this site and was initially turned off by it. I changed my mind though when I rang the others. This company didn't mind that it was winter and there was only me on my own. Aaron turned up to find that I had gone to the wrong location. He took the time to drive around and find me and shadow me to the right location. He was then thoughtful in his approach to teaching me how to stand up. As a beginner he stayed with me the whole time, showing me the tips of turning, the tricks to balance etc. The journey down the river was magical and the tunnel of trees together with the stingrays and beautiful water birds was well worth the effort. I would highly recommend this trip if you want to see part of the magical northern rivers while learning something new in the company of a patient and caring instructor

really beautiful day out exploring the local area and learning something new
I really enjoyed the day tour with Geoff from stand up paddle. It was nice and cruisy, we got to see lots of the natural area and the stand up paddle boarding was really fun. The lunch was awesome and the other people on the trip were all really nice. I would recommend it as a great thing to do and a great way to explore some of the beautiful areas around byron

nice trip

only one point less because near the starting point is the motorway and I would prefer a remote area for paddling. But short after start it felt more wild. Pick-up very on time!

Amazing Tranquil Experience

I went SUP for the first time with my friend. Aaron who ran Byron Stand Up Paddle boarding was amazing, made us feel at ease as never had done it before.
Went to Brunswick river, it was such a beautiful day. Saw Stingrays, amazing birds and he showed us the tranquil environment.
This is the best thing we have done in Byron- its such a enjoyable experience. We are hoping to go again on the full day tour !
Thank-you would definately reccommend for everyone to try this.

Stand up paddle boarding on Brunswick River, Byron Bay

My husband and I just had a great morning stand up paddle boarding for the first time. Ricky and Krystal are very friendly guides, who instructed us so well that we didn't fall in! It was a lovely way to explore the Brunswick River, and we saw stingrays,and several different types of birds. Thank you! Highly recommend.

This was a great adventure to do as a family. Ricky and Krystal offer a fabulous Stand up paddle boarding tour. Fantastic friendly tour guides who explain easily how to SUP then give a description of what you see as you paddle along the river. The sting rays were fun to watch.

Great day!
Unreal experience. We had an awesome time stand up paddle boarding with Ricky, who is one of the nicest guys we’ve ever met. The experience was organised, safe but most importantly, heaps of fun! The scenery was beautiful and the home made food at the end was what made this experience so perfect. If you’re reading the reviews and considering, just do it! I promise you won’t be disappointed
