This is the highlight of Byron Bay for many and because we were only stopping for a night it was top on the list for us. We did part of the walk up to the lighthouse and you will pass by many beautiful beaches along the way. The views from the top are superb and you might even be lucky... More

This is a very popular tourist destination, being the furthest easterly point on the Australian mainland, so you'll find lots of people there. If you come by car, you can have a lot of difficulty parking at peak times. The scenery is good and you may see dolphins below in the sea. There is a small cafe there if you... More

Was glad we made the trek up to the lighthouse. Was a beautiful view and we were able to spot some whales on the way down.

Hahaa... Im reviewing a lighthouse. But really, its a fantastic view, and the beach walk up to it is so special. Make sure you do this as the first activity in Byron Bay!

Spectacular views. Walking track for the energetic or parking... is a bit steep $8... more little tracks and lookouts once you get to the top.

Only about 5km from main town a lot of people run to here and to the top for sunrise. We took a tour with our hostel and really enjoyed the view. I've heard of people seeing whales in season but we got to see a cute little wallaby checking us out. Great place year round.

Beautiful views, nice stroll up. Lots of stairs, so of you have bad knees or ankles I wouldn't recommend walking. Spotted a wild wallaby just below the fence by the light house

Exactly as advertised... the most easterly point of Australia, with incredible ocean views. Our coffees were great, as we overlooked the town centre and southern beaches.

The whole lighthouse walk is lovely, going thru jungle and passing beautiful beaches. The lighthouse looks in amazing condition, and the room on the ground floor has some interesting books on lighthouses in Australia. The only issue is that only ten people can go up the lighthouse with volunteer guides at a time, and each time is half an hour... More

We saw byron bay cape on a building programm and we defenitely wanted to visit there to view the magnificent houses. But from the road most of the houses are out of view. So we decided to drive to the light house and visit it. But when we arrived at the parking it was completely full. So we decided that... More
