Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

A great place to sit and relax and have either a flight of rums or gins or cocktails. The guys behind the bar are very knowledgable about their products and have great cocktails that compliment their rums and gins. Not right in Byron but worth the visit. They do need more seating.

My favourite part of the tastings was learning more about distilling rums and gins. The owner is extremely well informed about his business. The business is predominantly for rum but with a couple of fantastic gins. One of his rums won first prize in the UK. I learned that one of the best juniper berries comes from Macedonia but the tasting proved it is indeed a magnificent juniper. The tastings are served responsibly and one cannot taste a high percentage alcohol if you are driving. High end prices but worth the outlay, especially for one of the gins that is so good you don't mix it, just have a nip over ice...delicious!

My wife booked us in for a pre-birthday Gin Class and distillery tour on a Saturday afternoon and we were not disappointed.

Excluding the hosts (Brian and Helen) there were five of us. Intimate and personal, this was a great way to learn about how Gin was made and the use of botanicals to flavour it. We selected a range of botanicals and 2 hours later we had our own bottle of Gin to take home.

Along the way there was a distillery tour as well as a number of tastings. Brian and Helen were the perfect hosts.

Cannot recommend this class enough. Make sure you book direct, and have a great afternoon. .

We spent a lovely Saturday afternoon drinking cocktails and making our own gin blended with hand picked botanicals.
The staff were lovely and had a wealth of knowledge to share. We also did a tour of the distillery while we waited for our own gin to distill and be bottled up for us.
They also make a great Vodka, Limoncello and Silver Rhum.

I used to just love gin, but now I can truly appreciate it. The gin-making class at the distillery is very interactive, and makes it a unique experience. Considering I was rewarded with my very own bottle of gin, made from my chosen herbs and botanicals, this is worth every cent. Comes highly recommended!
