A nice beach when we got finally got there! We couldn't find the Belongal township northern accommodation that we'd been recommended. The Byron Bay map didn't show the route there from Ewingsdale Rd. Use google maps ap on your phone! There were jelly fish in...More

There were some safe areas to swim, although we would still warn swimmers to swim between the flags, as there were some unpleasant rip currents here too. There were lots of children and dogs enjoying the very long stretch of beach. It was great to...More

We came here for a walk and a paddle. The beach is very clean, we found some really unique seashells. There were a lot of dogs having a great time chasing sticks and seagulls! We then sat on a bench under some trees and just...More

So much more peaceful than main beach of the Pass and we love that our dog is as welcome as we are. We love our walks along the beach when the blue bottles are in or the wind is up almost as much as we...More

Superb beach. Just be wary of two things. Firstly it’s a dog beaches so if you really are scared of dogs, then maybe there are better options. Secondly, part of it is a nudist beach!

Very nice beach apart from the surfers which took up most of the beach and found it hard to swim with them taking over

What an amazing dog beach! We loved this beach, the water is really clear and the beach is maintained really well. The beach is big enough to either relax in a busy section and people watch or walk 5/10min to have a secluded spot. The...More

Crystal clear water, a gentle swell, soft white sand, a peerless blue sky day - an idyllic Aussie beach scene.

A perfect, isolated beach where you can be completely alone wuth the waves and (if you wish) naked in the sun. I went about 2km north of the treehouse restaurant car park, over Belongil Creek. Safe swimming but very remote
