We offer exclusive Eco Tours in the Byron Bay region. Whale watching from July to November and snorkelling safaris all year round in the world class Cape Byron Marine Sanctuary. Learn to freedive with the mantas and turtles at Julian rocks! Wild Byron also caters for the land lover, offering guided and informative rainforest adventures in the Nightcap National Park, visiting sites such as the spectacular Minyon Falls and prehistoric temperate rainforests of the Wollumbin Volcanic rim.

We had an amazing day with Glenn and the Wild Byron team. We were very lucky to get multiple Whale encounters, including breaching calfs and very large, mature humpbacks performing acrobatics as they swam past us. The boat is fast, giving you the best chance of an encounter up and down the coast (and great views of the Byron lighthouse). Glenn also has fantastic knowledge of the Whales and their behaviour which increases the chances of some memorable sightings. We got some outstanding photos and video.
We also shouldn't forget Floki, Glenn's best pal. The kids couldn't get enough of that lovely dog!

We had a wonderful experience. We felt that we chose a very professional company, we sailed on a new and very comfortable vessel, our captain was professional, knew how to tell us about the way of life of the whales and gave us more interesting details. We saw a spectacular show of several whales. We would wholeheartedly recommend them

I can't believe how amazing the tour was! Glenn made sure that we do have the best experience and that everyone is feeling comfortable on the water. We saw a lot of whales, three of them were splashing out of the water and made our experience even better. We also spotted some turtles, dolphins and a hammerhead shark which was insane. Just watch out and listen these magical creatures are in the water. Thanks to Glenn who also shared a lot of knowledge about these special creatures.

Never ceases to amaze!! Absolutely fantastic whale watching adventure. Surrounded by breathtaking scenery, breaching whales and a wonderfully informative and gracious guide. Thanks Glen, we had an spectacular, unforgettable experience.

I took my nine year old granddaughter out with Glenn at Wild Byron the last day of her stay and we had a wonderful time. Maya loved the excitement of going through the bar at Brunswick and then we were met by whales almost immediately. we returned home in a spectacular thunderstorm with the whales blowing beside the boat, It was the best morning out, highly recommend it for old and young alike.

This was my second trip with Wild Byron and it did not disappoint. I went with my brother and parents, and we all had a spectacular time on the tour. We saw dozens of whales displaying different behaviours, and got lots of useful information about the conservation of the species from Glenn who was our tour guide and skipper. I would highly recommend this trip and I’m sure I’ll be back again in the future! 🐳🤍

Always a safe journey out to Julian Rocks with Wild Byron! Plenty of whales to see and amazing sea creatures to get up close with. 100% will be back!
