The wood works are a real highlight of Bungendore. The workmanship is just incredible. The items are not cheap, although there are some smaller things available if you are looking for gifts. I highly recommend that you set aside some time to have a look through.

This is world class wood work and art in a beautiful building. Plan on spending an hour in here there is so much to see and sample - for example the hand worked chairs - beautifully comfortable.

I have been a fan of this gallery for a number of years, and never disappointed in the extra effort of a visit when in Canberra. Always has interesting exhibits and reasonably priced. The cafe is good and you will always get a reasonable meal.

Revisiting this wonderful galley/shop in Bungendore. Has a café too - popular weekend brunch drive from Canberra. A very wide range of wooden product available for sale but don't be surprised that quality comes at a price - costs nothing to awe at the craftsmanship though and leave with a $20 cheese knife.

Thank you for your kind review, and especially noting that one can purchase something at a low price. We do have a number of items at low prices because we aim to have something for everyone to have a broad appeal and I think this accounts for our success over 33 years. More

One of Australia's best collections of 'timber as art' and it's for sale, although you need deep pockets. Which is not to say you shouldn't visit, even if your not intending to purchase. Even though it was obvious we were only browsing, we were welcome and there was no pressure to buy or to hurry. The quality of the work... More

The quality of the pieces on display is remarkable. Be prepared to say "wow" out loud . Wonderful imagination all over the building. I dabble in joinery and I am jealous!

We stopped in Bungendore recently on our way to Canberra and popped into the Wood Works Gallery and were almost overwhelmed at how amazing the wood works on display were...how talented some people are. I envy them their skills. Yes, a lot of items were expensive, but when you factor in the time involved to even make a small piece,... More
