We spent the weekend on the 33ft houseboat and had an incredible time! The boat was clean and had everything we needed. Dallas explained everything clearly and both he and Mel were very friendly and ready to answer all our questions.

The boat was awesome, and the Lake was beautiful! We found a couple of lovely spots to anchor for and explore on the dinghy. We even stopped for lunch at the Cafe near the car ferry.

We gave everything a go 🤣

Highly, highly recommend for a relaxing getaway

We can't recommend this holiday enough! About 2-3 hours drive north of Sydney (depending where you start), and you are on the MOST MAGICAL waterworld you have ever seen.

The Houseboat was perfect, roomy, well-appointed, reliable and well-maintained.

But the holiday is entirely up to you. Don't expect anybody to create activities for you, you've got to do that yourself . . . but that's just the way we like it.

Sure, it was cold at night, but the Houseboat company loaned us a gas heater which really made a difference. Days were absolutely perfect, and the lakes were the calmest I have ever seen.

We went for the wildlife and I've attached some awesome shots of sea eagles. I'm not a fisherman, but I'm told the fishing is great too . . . that's why there's so many water birds on the lakes!!!

A wonderful few days on board a very comfortable house boat on a magical part of the world. There were 6 of us, myself, my wife, our daughter, her husband and 12 and 7 year old boys. The houseboat had everything we needed for a fantastic holiday. Lots of swimming, and times on the kayak and paddleboard we brought with us . Always somewhere safe to anchor or tie up to a buoy whenever the wind changed. We all, except the kids, got a chance to drive the houseboat- very manageable for novices.
Dallas and Mel were excellent hosts. Dallas' pre -voyage information session was invaluable. All in all, a thoroughly recommended experience.

We loved staying on the 33ft houseboat. It was the perfect way to explore the lakes with the kids, and the best part is you can stop anytime and jump off for a swim. Mel and Dallas were brilliant hosts. We'll be back for sure!

Right from the start everybody was friendly and helpful.Even though it rained the whole week ( inside was dry ) we motored around the lake , anchored overnight, played lots of cards, ate , drank ( in moderation of course ). 1 night we even moored to a buoy ( first for us ). When we had questions about our outing , we were cordially treated by our contact Dallas and solved any concerns we novices had.
All in all it was a very pleasant holiday for my wife and I , as well as my sister and her husband from Townsville as well as my sister from Newcastle.

We highly recommend this experience and this company

The whole experience was fabulous . Two of us hired a 33 ft. It was the perfect size and well maintained. Dallas and Sharni who were ‘holding the fort ‘ were welcoming and professional. The Myall lakes are stunning. One of the most relaxing holidays we have been on.

We all had a great experience on a 45ft houseboat. The briefing was long but Chris is obligated by the very over governed bureaucracy, to tick all the boxes. There was everything on board for cooking & eating. The BBQ was a bit tricky with the stainless plate & the hot water heater seemed to have a problem. We notified Sandra and she was going to get it rectified .
We were unfortunate to get blown ashore in an overnight wind change & had to get the boys out to drag us off. They did a great job & from there on Sandra advised us by mobile phone if we were in the wrong spot if a change came through. Just a heads up to anyone who rents a houseboat. Make doubly sure that you anchor where designated on the chart & that the anchor is holding as the call out fee will certainly get your attention.
All in all a great experience. Thanks Sandra & Chris. Ticked that one off the bucket list.

We had a great time!
2 couples spent 3 days midweek on a 10 berth houseboat.
The boat was lovely with great facilities.
The front and rear decks always allowed and area out of the breeze if it kicked up and the front deck had a ton of the space.
The rooftop was a great place to chill.
Chris and Sandra were a wealth of info prior to departure and filled you in on all the necessities.
There were a heap of spots to stop midweek and we had every mooring area to ourselves.
Would do it all again and the great weather helped.
An important point is that you must listen properly to the briefing, because if you don't, the navigation especially could get you into some bother if you don't follow the markers as instructed!
Thanks Sandra and Chris!
