We all had a great experience on a 45ft houseboat. The briefing was long but Chris is obligated by the very over governed bureaucracy, to tick all the boxes. There was everything on board for cooking & eating. The BBQ was a bit tricky with the stainless plate & the hot water heater seemed to have a problem. We notified Sandra and she was going to get it rectified . We were unfortunate to get blown ashore in an overnight wind change & had to get the boys out to drag us off. They did a great job & from there on Sandra advised us by mobile phone if we were in the wrong spot if a change came through. Just a heads up to anyone who rents a houseboat. Make doubly sure that you anchor where designated on the chart & that the anchor is holding as the call out fee will certainly get your attention. All in all a great experience. Thanks Sandra & Chris. Ticked that one off the bucket list.

We had a great time! 2 couples spent 3 days midweek on a 10 berth houseboat. The boat was lovely with great facilities. The front and rear decks always allowed and area out of the breeze if it kicked up and the front deck had a ton of the space. The rooftop was a great place to chill. Chris and Sandra were a wealth of info prior to departure and filled you in on all the necessities. There were a heap of spots to stop midweek and we had every mooring area to ourselves. Would do it all again and the great weather helped. An important point is that you must listen properly to the briefing, because if you don't, the navigation especially could get you into some bother if you don't follow the markers as instructed! Thanks Sandra and Chris!

A sincere thank you to Sandra and Chris for their professional and attentive service. It was just so easy to book, drive there, get the instructions on how to operate the houseboat and get going on our escape. They have a tried and true system to get you going safely and informed and you really appreciate the care as a first-time "houseboater". We took the 33, which was just perfect for a couple. It was a lovely introduction to Myall Lakes National Park, meandering down Myall River - calm and serene - and then out onto Bombah Broadwater. We found a sheltered, sandy bay, facing west to spend the night (recommended by Chris) . We enjoyed fishing for our dinner and it didn't take long to have a beautiful flathead for the BBQ. We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner on the top deck whilst the sun set. The lake system is perfect for swimming with many areas comfortably shallow enough to touch the bottom. Even in "peak season" we found many secluded bays to be by ourselves. The wildlife is abundant, and the swans and ducks are there to accompany you wherever you stop. We spent the second night on the top deck under the stars. With no light pollution to spoil the view, we could see every star. When we stepped off the boat, we left fully relaxed and re-charged and I can only recommend that more couples and families experience this type of getaway. We look forward to coming back and enjoying another adventure soon.

SO not scary! Sandra and Chris give you a quick and thorough run-through of everything and then off you go! From the start you’re in charge of a very easy to handle houseboat, cruising down the beautiful Myall River...Then into the calm clear water of Myall Lake which is very inviting to swim or fish in (don’t forget your fishing license!)

Such an awesome way to spend your weekend or even stay longer if you desire. The boats are amazing and so easy to drive, we took Leo out the 20 tonne tank just the two of us and we felt literally like a house in the water! Leo can fit 12 people so next time we will be taking the kids and friends! Beautiful bays and beaches to visit, the lake is huge. Thank you Chris and Sandra, Steve and I had a blast and you guys were very helpful with your knowledge about the boats and the waterway which made our trip all the more enjoyable.
