Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We went to see Will Anderson here coming out of Covid and not only was it a great show but also a great theatre. The refurbished, town hall type country theatre is very charming and a great environment. There is a real happiness around everyone being there and a bit of old time movie flair. BYO social time outside also makes it social.

Wonderful venue that has been restored and is charmingly reminiscent of small local cinemas of the sixties. The live show we attended ‘Cheeky’ is a lot of fun and highly recommend the Brunswick Picture House for a memorable night out.

This is a great little theatre. Has reopened with aircon, which I imagine is a big deal in summer. Managed to get a ticket for Kitty Flanagan for the first show after reopening. BYO wine in the garden beforehand. What more could you want.

The Bruns Picture House is a great place to go for a fun Burlesque show without the crowds with very lay back enjoyment you can go with a boy drink also.

If you live in the locale or are just passing through there is always something happening at this Venue . I have been any number of times - films , concerts , cabaret . It is an essential part of the Northern Rivers Community and should be supported . It is a place that is actively conspiring to make you happier xxx

How wonderful is it that little old school theatre treasure has been reopened after 30 years. Cold non alcoholic drinks along with two choices of sausages in bread and an assortment of spreads for $5. All served by super friendly staff clearly loving their job. BYO alcohol to casually drink in the shade filled side courtyard before the show starts. Hughesy (Melbourne comedian) had us in stitches as always. Love your stuff Hughesy!!! Theatre holds roughly 300 people. Best experience in the Byron Hinterland area. Loved it!
