The Janda has been well preserved and the crew were friendly and knowledgeable. The river is low in this time of drought. The stories about the river and life in the past where interesting and informative. I was fascinated with the facts about the old...More

We travelled up from Melbourne and were glad to arrive at the Park. As others have noted, taking a map with you to the Park is a good idea as my GPS lost itself once we got off the Kidman Way. Geo co-ordinates for the...More

I did this trip alone which I wouldn’t recommend for the faint hearted. Take plenty of water, extra petrol, and knowledge of car maintenance to be on the safe side. Some of the roads become very rough, rocky, and ‘corrugated’ so take your time on...More

Great place to camp. Would be a little better with more water, but we had enough to catch some yabbies for dinner. Good toilets, gas bbqs ,and shelter sheds.

We drove in from the Cobar/Bourke road. It was quite a drive to the Mulgowan (Yappa) camping/picnic ground and should not be attempted in the wet without a 4WD. Good toilet and picnic table for our lunch. We only went to go to see the...More

The road into the national park & then to the art site picnic area was well graded & an easy drive. The picnic area is very well maintained with a good outback loo. The track to the art site is well constructed but sadly on...More

The drive into the art site is a dry weather only road. At the car park there are toilets and a picnic area. The walk to the art is short with some good views. The art is well preserved and easy to photograph
