Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We came up, not knowing what to expect. The walk from the car park is largely uphill, not too steep but it gets your heartbeat up. The views along the way are okay, with some nice banksias, large rocks, and the occasional glimpse of the valley below.
Then, all of a sudden, we came around the corner and this majestic view opened up before us. We could see all of the valley below us, stretching from maybe Gerroa down to Jervis Bay. It was all laid out like a beautiful quilt. Then over the other side you could see down towards Kangaroo Valley, with beautiful rock faces glowing in the sun.
The rocks which give the place its name, the funny naturally formed tables and chairs, are interesting, but my eyes kept coming back to the view.

Next time l'll take a camel pack with water to carry on my back as you need your hands to steady you at times. I will also take my hiking poles for the same reason. Although no one else had poles, l just think it would have made the walk easier. View was stunning!

Sign at bottom says 3 hours round trip. Pfft. A couple of unfit 50-somethings were back at the car within 1:20 mins. So roughly 45 mins there taking it really easy, and same coming back.
Like other reviewers say, its rocky and steep in sections but the view at the top is stunning.
Don't do it on a hot day!

The board at the base says 3 hours return. I have no clue how you could take that long. We walked it twice...once for a 45 minute return and another time for an hour and twenty return. Arrive early if you want to park nearer th start of the walk.

For the first 10 minutes every muscle hurt. After 15 minutes, the endorphins kicked in. Ended the ascent on a high to find the most glorious views; sweeping; exhilarating; awesome. This is a walk in a national park near Berry. Not many people there on what was a fine day. It is all up hill - advertised as 3 hours return, but a lot less than that unless you decide to do it walking on your hands. Take care though, may be slippery, but if you are reasonably fit you will enjoy it immensely. Take a picnic lunch. I will next time.

The sign at the bottom says 4 hours return....I am not the fittest AND quite pregnant and it took us just over 2 hours with lots of breaks for me and stopped at look outs. It's nice and shady most of the way and an interesting bushwalk of moderate difficulty.

Had googled this walk and even being rather unfit I thought I could do it. However, shortly after we started the walk a sign explain the difficulty of it, the time it would take (3hrs) and how we should bring enough equipment for a trek in the outback. It put me and hubby off a bit but decided to see how far I could go anyway It was not however as bad as that, and I think the sign would put most people off. About 45 mins in, I decided I could not go much further (expecting another 45 min-1hr trek to get there) and stopped at viewpoint to rest, at which point we realised we were at the destination!! We did the walk in 1.5 hours return including 10-15 mins at the top. I have very unfit but had little trouble. The track was well marked for most of it and the view at the end was great. Definitely worth it

On weekends the road up to the entrance can be quite busy and parking may be at a premium. But it's worth the walk.

Short walk, steep at the start and with a bit of uneven washed out steps. When you arrive at the top you will find amazing rock formations and beautiful views out over the Shoalhaven. Not suitable for small kids or prams etc.

How would someone with heart issues cope with the up hill walk?

I would seek medical advice. I am not young but I am fairly fit. So for me I enjoyed the endorphin rush. However, please seek medical advice. If there was a problem then access by emergencies services would be severely delayed.

I notice that one of the contributor suggested wearing long trousers during the hike due to bushes. In the coming summer shorts would normally be better for normal walks and I did saw peoples wearing shorts to the rocks on googled pictures. Wonder whether trousers is really a must as I need to plan my wardrobe for my hike next week. Will be thankful for your feedback.

When we last walked it over Easter 2016, the track was pretty good.
There are, like most tracks, sections where you might get the odd overgrowth / overhang but I wouldn't be too concerned. The section of track towards the top cuts through an area of fairly dense ti tree (I think) and this is probably the bit you are most likely to get any sort of issue with scratches or maybe an allergic reaction?
Myself and 3 of my kids all wore shorts with no dramas and quite a few fit young joggers do it in shorts.
I'd be more concerned with snakes now the weather is warming up.
