If you like cheese and are down this way then just stop in, you will not be disappointed, you can taste the cheese and have a look around at all the old school tools and discover the way things were done back in the day,...More

Upstairs there was a small but free museum which was pretty interesting (if you have the time to read and take it all in). Downstairs there was a great selection of cheeses to taste. The heritage cheese was my favourite and apparently you can't get...More

Upstairs is where the history is, photos, bits and bobs, carts. A great display of yesteryear cheese making and the life’s of our early farmers. Downstairs you can sample various cheeses. You can buy cheese, ice cream, fudge and or visit the cafe. Reasonable prices....More

We enjoyed visiting this centre and trying all the different cheeses. The café food was fresh and delicious. The kids enjoyed the milkshakes especially. There are some cute items in the museum but this whole centre could do with some modern upgrades as it was...More

For something to do we went to the Heritage Centre. The historical paraphernalia was interesting for the children. There is a very nice clean cafe and eating area downstairs with homemade cheesecakes, fudge and cheeses for sale. Even great toilets at the complex. It costs...More

Area upstairs with interesting machinery from the bygone years. Local crafts can be purchased, loving my travel slippers. The highlight of my stop was the hot chocolate....best I have had. Will stop in again next time I am travelling.

The heritage centre is ok but the food was excellent. Had the yummiest steak sandwich and the young ones enjoyed a cheese covered hot dog and milkshakes. Worth the visit just for the lunch!

Firstly it’s free....upstairs there is some old cheese making equipment from around the district. Great to see it getting preserved but a number of items seemed to be tacky...the best example is a fibreglass cow with 6 hind legs. Down stairs there’s the cheese tasting...More

Made a quick unplanned stop here on the way to Jindabyne. Obviously the cheese is delicious and free tasting is fantastic. The cute little museum up the top is interesting, but not fantastic for a handsy toddler.

This is a little gem for the milking industry history in Bega, Lots of old apparatus to meander past, good gift shop. Nice Cafe and assorted items and cheeses to choose from, recommend the Gold Cheese.

Yes it is open. It has an attached museum that's interesting. Cheese tasting and types/sizes available that are not easy to find elsewhere. I enjoyed going there.
