Couldn't buy much as we were only there for a couple of days so grabbed things to eat now. All very fresh and all stall holders were friendly. well worth the five hour drive from home. This year we will do it again and this time spend more time there.

Bangalow market has organic and very fresh produce. There's a coffee seller (excellent coffee), all kinds of veges and fruit, preserves and Rosa sells the most delicious bread. . Noel sells oysters and if you want a kick start for the day, try his oyster shot. A tiny cup with an oyster steeped in tomato juice, tobasco and vodka. The... More

Well set up markets, we were pleasantly surprised. Parking was a breeze and lots of nice food on offer. Great place to sit, eat and listen to live music. Loved just wondering the stalls and it felt like it went on forever. Loved the ATM machines, made it so much easier.

My friend and I are staying near Bangalow and thought we'd visit the markets (striking it lucky on the 4th Sunday of the month). The markets are well organised with heaps of parking ($2), ATM machines and so many stalls. We were like kids in a toy store, and many stalls had some beautiful artisan products (mostly from Byron). We... More

These markets are on the fourth Sunday of each month. To access parking on the large grass showground is $2. No dogs are allowed. This market has a range of interesting stalls from clothing, jewellery, candles, kitchen ware and more as well as so many food options of prepared/cooked food, spices, teas, fruit and vegies, breads, chutnies and jams and... No ugly handicrafts here - just good local produce at very reasonable prices. Some interesting stuff and is complimented by some lovely local shops for gifts, fashion & homewares.

The Bangalow Market has to be the best open air, community market I have visited. The Marketeers here are creative and friendly. Bamboo Dance and Yoga Clothing (Feathers of the Sun); delicate jewellery by Lennox local Jenny Reid; light stands and other custom woodwork by Lawrence of Valleyofcraftsmen to name just a few! Even if you don't have a lot... More
