We used Steves from Ballina to Byron. The service was friendly. The bus was comfortable. Overall a great experience

Excellent service. Driver Grant put me completely at ease. My flight was an hour late, but the driver waited and was very patient and reassuring. The trip into Byron was very fast and efficient and Grant was very helpful with the bags and dropping each passenger off at their destination. I loved the Hawaiian shirt they all wear: it puts one in holiday mode right away!

It was Very easy to book and pay. The directions on where to meet was very clear, a reminder email sent and good driver and on time.

Cannot book via telephone Only online What if no internet available during holiday???
Went online eventually and found website confusing
We could not find shuttle from lennox to ballina airport ? Always used it before
Eventually after ringing around others we found out that Steve’s transport did not actually offer this service!! Only from airport!! Argh!! How can we get back to airport then?
Steve..at least make a note on your website that you no longer go that way !! Just a few words ! Let’s know?

My daughter booked a transfer from Ballina airport to Byron. Online booking only allowed to book one seat at a time. After first seat booked the booking app would not allow a second seat to be booked. The incoming flight number wasn’t available to select.
My daughter rang immediately to cancel and the staff member hung up on her when she was looking for her booking details. She sent an email straight away but operator refused to refund her fare.
Plenty of more understanding operators so I would steer clear

Booked Steve's Transport for 6 "schoolies" - 4 one way and 2 on return trip. There was problem with the website when I went to book but I was phoned by staff and the booking was done over the phone. On arrival at the airport the staff were waiting as advised and were taken directly to their accomodation. The day before returning we realised we needed a transfer for 1 more. I emailed and Courtney answered immediately and we were able to add in another. The return transfer was also smooth with a text advising that the driver was on his way. Would definately use again.

I booked Steve's transport for my son and his friend 2 months before their travel date. The day before travel to Ballina I receive a revised confirmation with a changed pick up time and an incorrect flight number detailed on the booking. The changed pick up time meant that my son and his friend would have to wait at the airport for 3 hours after their flight arrival time. It was frustrating not having any way of reaching Steve's travel other than via email. Despite leaving several messages on the mobile, messaging and emailing them several times on the day of the flight, I received no response. After asking the hostel in Byron Bay to try and reach them, I finally received an email 30 mins before touch down advising that they had been "rebooked". It would have been nice to have received an earlier acknowledgement and an apology for stuffing up a booking that had been made and paid for well in advance. On a positive note, the return leg was seamless and they responded quickly to a request to change a pick-up itme.
