We love Avica Beach Picture Theatre. My husband will not go to see movies anywhere else as there is so much leg room. It's been kept in it's original state except for seat upgrades ( it even has a grand piano on stage)....

This unique cinema has been established for many decades, going back to 1948. It is well known to those who live on the NSW Central Coast or who have holidayed there over the years. Whilst it is in a heritage listed building it is quite modern inside with superb seating both in terms of comfort and spacing but with excellent... More

We had a lovely evening at the movies and can't wait to go back. Such a variety of films and community events. Great food and an awesome vibe.

Had to be nearby for an appointment and had spare time. We'd heard about this old picture Theatre so went for a look. What a pleasant surprise! It's olde worlde with clothes and gifts for sale. We had coffee before the movie, but the place is LICENCED, the owner walked around, had a chat, then took us in to view... More

This theatre is full of yesteryear charm We enjoyed a drink on the grass outside with distant sea views before the movie. We were able to see a foreign film here which is not showing at the big movie chain theatres. "Rosalie Blum" was a great movie. There are some good theme nights coming up too which look like fun!

I often take my wife to the movies at the Avoca Beach Picture Theatre and we will travel from Sydney to enjoy this beautiful theatre once every couple of months - it's one of our favorite things to do. Enjoy a coffee before the show and there are some good restaurants close by for dinner after the movie.

One of our favourite places on the Central Coast. You can get your choc top and a glass of wine then sit in the amazing old style plush seats.

I've seen many movies here and the best thing is it not being modern. The seats are old but have weathered the years well. Short release movies seem to be more predominant. Not saying that main releases aren't available. Most are. But it's good to catch movies that you won't see at the majors.
