Walk from Cremyll through Mount Edgcumbe Country Park along Plymouth sound, through the woods which is the costal path to Kingsand. Mount Edgecumbe gardens are worth visiting on the way and there are loads of picnic spots.

This is the forgotten corner of Cornwall and full of lovely walks with pubs at Kingsand to refresh you at the end of the walk or in Summer a swim in the sea.

But take water and walking boots best, not trainers. Dumped the car at Cremyll car park, took the hourly bus back to Crawsands (4 adults and 2 teenagers £6.20 total ticket cost), then walked the lovely walk. Stopped opposite Drakes Island for picnic. Great memories.

We have walked this route at all seasons and always enjoy it. The bus ride from Plymouth to Cawsand and Kingsand takes approximately an hour. Footpath in opposite direction can take a little locating in Kingsand. The walk has wonderful views of Plymouth Sound, beaches...More

I make this walk very regularly especially if I want to de-stress. It's about 3.6 miles and can be a little bit of effort if you try to rush it. There is one area in particular where you are detoured around a land slide which...More
