Used the ferry today to go to Plymouth and what a welcome change from the A38 and Devon expressway. Good view of the estuary on both sides with all the boats and dry dock. Can also go upstairs and get better views.

We didn't know this ferry existed! Followed the signs to Torpoint from the main dual carriageway on our way to Cornwall. Great service - use it, it's FANTASTIC value!

Excellent Car ferry running all year about every 30 minutes, unbelievably it is free in the Westerly direction (into Cornwall)

There are buses outside the railway station which will take you across the river Tamar to Torpoint in Cornwall, and beyond.
