We visited the heritage centre but were disappointed. The old video they loop is interesting but faded and quite dated to the point of being hard to watch. Time for a new production. Not recommended unless you are quite keen on lighthouses.

Lizard is a must visit.
The lighthouse is a bonus. Unfortunately due to timing I couldn't venture up the lighthouse. As it's operational, only guided tours are permitted. I think there were three set times.
