Reading reviews I was expecting to be wowed but sadly not. On arrival there was no-one at the desk but an honesty box so we put in our £6.00 each. We would have liked a map of the gardens but there was nothing available. There is a formal looking garden near the entrance and some greenhouses but the rest is... More

The gardens are a hidden gem with so much to see, the greenhouses are full of lovely plants. For those who like walking there are lots of path's to follow. A lovely place to just sit and listen to the birds, well worth a visit.

We had booked a tour by the Head Gardener and I should like to record our thanks for a very informative and interesting tour with our questions patiently answered. You are given a detailed leaflet, packed with information about the estate, the family and the garden. Tregrehan (pronounced Trgrain) has benefitted from family members who have been avid horticulturalists and... More

I just loved it. There is no café as such but there are some loos. It is very inexpensive to get in and I'd recommend... More

We stayed at a holiday cottage on the Tregrehan estate last autumn and found it a wonderful place. The cottages are all individual, furnished simply and each with their own lovely private outdoor space as well as a basket of family toys provided for any children visiting, which my son loved. The gardens are huge, with a walled garden full... More

Beautiful natural setting, peaceful and full of interest and no truck loads of people as can be experienced up the road at the Eden fair ground affair. If you get the chance to visit when they hold one of their evening theatre events don't miss the opportunity if you can. Get on down if you can
