We went for a walk here and wished the weather was better as it's a great place to spend more time and even go for a paddle on a hot day. Free parking and an amazing little smoke house next door - perfect place to spend an afternoon

What a great place, similar in many respects to Plym, Bridge but with the added advantage of Inkies smokehouse, it is Superb.

This is a beautiful walk through a bright green forest . Not too strenuous. The path follows a river that tumbles over rocks. Don't go expecting a waterfall. Very peaceful. Large car park. There is a barbecue restaurant, but it was closed on a Tuesday when we were there.

We found this by accident but not far where we were staying. I am disabled and was advised not to go as far as the actual falls as it is a bit of a climb. The woodlands by the river are beautiful and the path was fairly wide, just be careful of tree roots. The weather was perfect but we... More

An absolutely idyllic place, accessible with facilities such as toilets, free parking and a restaurant however just left enough to enjoy nature. The falls are stunning and don't take an experienced hiker/climber to access, definitely worth visiting.

Great woodland, the river is beautiful although it is only a short walk. I would recommend walking around the beautiful woodland first then going to the river. Very nice and thankfully not very commercialised!

We don't live far away and never realised this was here. Large free car park which was full so we expected a busy walk but quite often we were on our own. Dogs welcome . Lovely river footpath following The Fowey that is quite scrambly with lots of areas to paddle in summer. Beautiful woods that were full of bluebells... More

What an absolutely beautiful place. We stumbled across this while staying nearby and I'm so glad we did. I love Cornwall and am often surprised to find a gem of a place I haven't visited before, and this is definitely one of those gems. We visited on a Sunday morning with our dogs and, having had a lovely brunch at... More

A great place to visit with your family or doggie friend. The waterfalls are naturally beautiful and the paths are ideal for the family or group of friends to gently walk along. If you want to be more adventurous there are steeper slopes to scrabble down and up to access quieter spots.
