We recently visited the caves during a very busy August day, as we were told the wait would be very long we decided to come back in a couple of hours and we were so glad we did. Lots to occupy us locally, an amazing...More

Arrived on a rainy day. Had an hour long wait (which in fairness we were warned of before paying by the lovely lady in the ticket office) in a three sided shelter with poorly working vending machines for company, before we were marched off to...More

Really enjoyed walk around grounds while waiting our turn for the caverns which as it was so busy, was an hour and a half! After doing the walk twice we sat in picnic area waiting our turn! Wish would have taken our own food as...More

The younger ones liked the trail, but a little overpriced for what it is and showing some age when I was there. A cafe would help but there is really only a vending machine and occasionally an ice cream stall. The little one went dead...More

Well what can I say. Very disappointing. The walk around the grounds was very very good. Things to spot and things to search for. The actual cave even though it was only £17.50 family ticket. Not worth it at all. Nothing like the pictures on...More

We spent an interesting couple of hours here. We, including our 6 year old, enjoyed looking around the caverns as well as the walk outside. There's a couple of gift shops but foodwise, only a vending machine so as others have said, I think that's...More

One of so many holes in the ground in Cornwall. BUT, this one is stunning in its size, natural features and acoustic. Haven't visited for years. Then we went to a concert given by the wonderful "Fisherman's Friends". An ideal friendly venue that enabled everyone...More

The combination of woodland walk and mine exploration make this a great place to visit. It's cheap and cheerful and even in the rain we had a great time.

It was raining when we planned the visit. We travelled 1hr 20m to get here to be told it was full and "come back at 3:30 in the afternoon but there was a pub in the village we could go to".... Luckily my ancestors are...More

Never been to a gig there. But when I visited there was rows of seats. I'd think it best to ring the venue.
