As I continued my day tour of national trust properties near the Lizard peninsula I came across Gunwalloe Cove. Rugged beauty again & this coastline just kept surprising me.

My second visit to Gunwalloe Church Cove Beach, beautiful scenery. Clean beach and lovely St Winwaloe Church, such a holy and special place to reflect and pray.

We visited on a cloudy windy day and it was truly exhilarating. The beach was great with lively waves crashing down. We also battled the winds to walk up the coast path to look back at Church cove

Walking from the car park is easy along the road. The beach is charming as the site from the Poldark shipwreck. Nearby is an iconic church we later realized was used for the wedding in Poldark's season 3 opener.

Amazing views, peaceful beach, Cornwall at its best. Only downside is that the cafe is seasonal so wasn't open but still worth a visit. We have a dog so was perfect for that.
