I went to the beach over new year with the family including our dog, who isn’t great with other dogs. The beach is massive and you can park really close behind the dunes. There were no issues with our dog as we had enough room...More

We love Crantock. Nice beach with an area roped off and life guarded in the river so the kids are safe and can play on their inflatables. Take a trip over the river to see the crabs and lobsters in the shop.

Short walk from village where there are a couple of pubs, post office/store and a great cafe! If you arrive by car, there is plenty of parking. Surrounded by dunes, safe for dogs & children.

Nice place to relax and enjoy the sun. However there is a long walk up a sand dune which is rather tiring. The beach was very clean and the water was crystal clear. The national trust car park was rather cheap (£4.50 all day- for...More

I came here a lot as a child, special place to me. Love the free parking for National trust, easy walk very beautiful. Did not like the sign informing us of the sewage and no water in the toilets.

At least a mile long. The sand is so fine pushing a loaded pram could be quite difficult. If you walk to the right of the car park extreme care should be taken as the tide comes in very quickly but to the left of the car... More
