Long may it continue! Have used this for many years as a way to get to Ham from Twickenham and back. Kids love it. It's a cheap and scenic way to get across. Very reliable and always friendly.

We had been at Turner's House in Twickenham and fancied visiting Ham House on the Richmond side of the river. This little ferry was great. £1 a head with a friendly boatman. What is not to like?

It's a lovely way to cross the river to get to Ham House. The young blond guy (who has lovely legs!) saved me as I slipped disembarking. We'll be back.
