We were staying in the area with our two dogs and whilst out one day we stumbled on this beach. The way to it is through a single width farm road, but it is relatively open and there are suitable passing points so it wasn't too scary 😆. The honesty box was in operation so we put our money in... When staying in East Yorkshire, we always make a trip here. We have been to this beach on hot summer days and in the midst of winter, and love it. The beach is vast, flat, clean, good sand and dog friendly. There are ruins of old WW2 lookouts dotted along the beach and within the cliffs. The beach is signposted... More

Lovely clean sandy beach with a lovely view. We walked our dog along this beach to Bridlington. Great walk into a seaside town with a little fun fair and places to eat. There is a little road train that can pick you up but we decided to walk it. The beach is perfect for crabbing and next year when the... More

Parking is easy and well organised by a lovely family, car park clean and rubbish free. Great access for horse box and safe. Beautiful clean beach with loads of space to ride safely. Truly stunning location with toilets.

Be aware there is a parking charge of £ 3.00 per day. Not bad if you intend to spend all day at this beach. We just wanted to walk our dog for an hour or so ,and this felt quite expensive for a field parking lot. The beach is fine, long and ample space to dog walk with no restrictions.... More

We visited here over a very sunny warm September weekend and will definitely be back. The beach doesn't suffer from over crowding as it's not advertised, and when the tide is out it's huge! Also very clean and good for dogs too.

We have passed this hidden Jem for years but decided to visit on a sunny 11th September 2016 . After passing the massive turbine wind farm to get to the beach which please don't be put off the are quite amazing. You then follow the narrow winding road to the beach there is a £3 charge for car parking to... More

I would go here all the time and yes you have to pay a small fee but it's so worth it to have a nice clean beach! We always pick the perfect spot and on a sunny day is like a little sun trap. Beautiful Beach
