We visited here for the last time the week before Easter, we wanted to get one last visit in. We had a great day again, the sun was shining on the gardens. We sat and had a picnic on the stone castle chairs, we looked at the dragon. This is one of our favourite places for a day out, hopefully... More

Lovely walk around Wentworth Gardens this afternoon. Browsed the plants for sale and had a gorgeous scone in the cafe! Cafe is pricey if you're wanting a meal but not so bad for cake and a coffee.

Had a fabulous walk round the garden here this morning. Lovely gardens with lots of good quality information boards telling you about the history of the place. Plenty for children and adults to do and great views of surrounding countryside. Arrive early (10am) to miss the crowds - gets busy by 11.30.

What a super place, I really cannot believe it is closing on Easter Monday. In a month the rhodendrums will be out and nobody will be there to see them. All that money spent on rebuilding that beautiful conservatory ....whats going to happen now... is every thing going to be left to go to rack and ruin again.....that would be... More

I have visited Wentworth Castle Gardens many times in past years particularly on Whit Monday when the rhododendrons and camelias are at their best. My latest visit was made because after Easter Monday this year 17th April the grounds are closing to the public. The 'castle' is a folly with steps up to the top of one of the towers.... More

We had a lovely day here on Sunday. I still can't believe the place will be closing on Easter Monday. We have been several times in the past, but always in the summer when the beautiful flowers were in full bloom. It was the first time we had seen the Conservatory although there didn't seem to be as much in... More

I was recently overwhelmed by the experience of being a bridemaid at the Wentworth castle conservatory and grounds. Such a shame they are shutting this place to the public now. What are they thinking?!?! So silly.

We always call in for tea and cake after a farm and playground visit. Large selection of cake and nice ice cream. Nice terrace outside in summer.

A lovely way to spend a few hours, walking through the gardens and the views from the tower are breath taking, will definitely go back in the summer

Thank you for your lovely review, we are so pleased to hear how much you enjoyed your visit. Unfortunately we will not be open in the summer as sadly, Wentworth Castle Gardens is closing after Easter this year. More
