Built in the late 1970's the Abbey golf course has now matured into a fine, championship standard parkland course measuring over 6,500 yards. Designed by Donald Steel, one of Britain's leading course architects the course has been extensively upgraded and lengthened in recent years. Home to the Best Western Senior Masters final in 2006 the course now regularly hosts county matches and high profile corporate days. The layout includes matured trees, lakes and on the whole the fairways are wide with the rough not too punishing, the picturesque 7th is a 192 yard drive from the medal tee with the green surrounded on three sides by the river arrow. The 13th is a challenging uphill par 4 drive between two mature oak trees at 250 yards with the green concealed out of sight at the top of the hill.We offer Par 72 18 hole course, driving range, putting green, buggy hire, teaching and coaching support.

My brother-in law booked a large room here for a private function (an 80th birthday surprise) and from start to finish everything was perfect. The entire staff that we had contact with excelled themselves and the food was delicious. A great day made memorable by such a brilliant place. Congratulations to all involved.

This is a review for Tawny's Bar. I had the Chicken Tikka Marsala which was like a frozen Iceland meal. The sauce was strong tomato flavour and nothing like a Marsala sauce. The chicken was tough and obviously frozen. I also had the Poached egg with black pudding and hollandaise sauce. The black pudding also seemed frozen with little flavour... More

Myself, my daughter and daughter in law booked for afternoon tea, it was delightful. From our arrival, the friendly staff the lovely food, and the gorgeous setting it was just lovely. We'd had a room to ourselves with comfy chairs (great for my heavily pregnant daughter in law) the staff checked regularly to see if we needed a top of... More

We booked this hotel as it was close by to my mother's house for having the children and we spotted a deal. We were not expecting too much as we felt the money we had paid was such good value for money. When we arrived we had discovered the room had a double bed and as I am pregnant we... More

Arrived straight from a long day attending a conference having driven up from London. Check in was OK but upon being told my room number I then found myself wondering around the hotel trying to find it. On returning to the reception an impatient receptionist pointed me in totally another direction. From there it was pretty much down hill on... More

A brilliantly organised wedding venue. The hotel, the wedding breakfast, all contact and help before and during the wedding ceremony was first class. Everything ran very smoothly all due to the excellent management and well organised very helpful staff. Would highly recommend this venue for your wedding venue.. A very happy ,other of the bride.

Went with the golf society for 1 night and 2 rounds of golf. The golf course is not over long so good for society days with golfers of all abilities and handicaps. All our rooms were good and spotless, especially mine as it was on the ground floor as they were a bit bigger than the 2nd floor rooms. The... More

For me the best course in Redditch. Always friendly challenging course. The hard holes not so hard, but the easier one according to SI are not. Bunkers could be better
