The location leaves a lot to be desired. On the second day we decided to continue the rest of the week with an extra hour in the afternoon from 3-4 pm. due to excessive road noise. Very, very noisy location. All teachers were excellent except mine. Very young, very unprofessional. Asked if I believed in God because she didn't like... More

Arrived to this school with very limited Spanish knowledge. My teacher was Vanessa, and she was amazing! She was extremely professional, but she had a wonderful sense of humour, as all of the teachers at this school had. A very comfortable school setting with one on one instruction, located in the centre of the town, with wifi. I studied here... More

Finally a school that helps you to start speaking Spanish! One on one means the program is tailored to your level. Daily exercises and revision over past work are a helpful part of their approach. Of special note is they dont just say what they are going to do but document a custom lesson program at the beginning and each... More

This Spanish-School is incredible! I arrived last Sunday in SAN Juan del Sur with my Spanish Class starting on Monday. For the next five days I was taught 5h/day. The time flew away. Since the teachers, so called profesoras, give you homework everyday, try to have additional off topic conversations with you and organize a dinner/salsa evening in the middle... More

These teachers are trained. They give a variety of assignments and homework. They start with an exam to assess your level and cater the classes to what you want to learn. And it's flexible - you can pay by the hour, 10 hours a week, 15 hours a week, or 20 hours per week. They also offer homestays for a... More

Me and my boyfriend stayed for one week in San Juan Del Sur over New Years and visited the LASS to gain some knowledge of the spanish language. We had very basic spanish skills, just taught us a few phrases with a book before.. the teachers of the LASS welcomed us very warmly and gave us advice for our stay... More

I signed up for a week of 4hr daily classes. It was amazing! The one on one instruction is incredible. I had no prior Spanish lessons, so Vanessa was very patient, but pushed me to learn the most that I could. I highly recommend LASS and the whole staff. They were very organized, professional and thorough. The location is very... More

I found this school on Internet and decided for it on the ground of very good reviews and also they answered all my questions per email very quickly. It turned out, that the decision couldn't have been better. I was visiting spanish lessons one week, I had 4 hours every day, I came with some knowledge and I think I... More

Every year I take my children to a different Spanish speaking country where we have adventures and they attend either a Spanish immersion camp or Spanish lessons. We have been to Costa Rica (twice), Spain and Mexico. My children (ages 9 and 11) said that this school was by far the best and they learned the most! With so many... More

One week intensive with homestay. Teaching started immediately, even when I went in to just check things out. I feel great now that i can have some limited conversations. One on one lessons were a good mix of reading, writing, pronunciation and comprehension. My teacher was very funny.good vibes in the classroom, some joking around but serious about proper pronunciation... More
