We actually drove by the mansion on one side of the highway and went into the park area first on the other side of the highway. It is very well kept and manicured. There is a covered bridge, playground, pavilion, old tavern, bathrooms and buildings...More

It was an interesting tour. We learned facts pertaining to the living experience of the times. Also some conveniences that were a head of the times.

I live nearby and often take lunch to sit outside. You may be able to watch trains on the Rockville Bridge or boaters. Playground and restrooms are there too.

The setting of the mansion is just beautiful. The tour was exceptional. The most unique part of the tour was the mannequins dressed in period clothing. More interestingly, is the fact they were from trunks stored in the attic left behind by the original owners....More

EVERYONE ABOVE stated the correct answer. They have an indoor area of a train display & a barn, where activities occur. Not that big of a deal to us. Dogs can roam the huge ground area. When, we go to our daughter's... More
