It's the State Museum and I honestly had low expectations but it was much more interesting and informative than I expected. Plenty to see. I just hate paying to park in Harrisburg.

If you stay in Harrisburg take a chance to visit State museum of Pennsylvania. You will definitely find something you like there: starting from prehistoric times, mammoth skeleton to Civil war history and nuclear engineering.

Three floors of very interesting exhibits, including Native Americans, Civil War, Transportation, Paleontology among others. Not too crowded over a holiday weekend which was even better,. The...More

I was just there this weekend and it is now $7 for adults, which is a minimal fee given all the incredible exhibits.
